Simply grand!
We went to a Cuse game and stayed at Hotel Skyler for ease. We could not have been happier: the perfect location to go onto campus. The rooms are spacious, the staff is friendly and professional. Not that it was an issue for us, but our room required we take our luggage several steps down without prior warning.

The only good thing about this place is the profil photo. A horrible experience. Advertised as a 4 star HILTON hotell. A place to go for comfort and motivation.Price a night was 335 Us dollar a night. I stayed 3. This is 2 star place.
The rooms have no vibes, dull semi-dirty carpets on the floors and grey/white walls. I Was placed on the ground floor, in the basement.Looking out through the window in my room. The lawn outside was at my chest high.
Fitness room was super tiny and in lack of most equipment. If this wasn’t enough? The room I was given was not sound proof at all. You could hear people talking outside, when they passed your door on the way to the fitness room, early in morning, lunchtime or later on the day/evenings.Person that made the breakfast was rude. Never before have I experienced such rudeness and lack of positive energy. The body language and Demeanour of that person was a shock. Lacking of anything that has to do with a positive service attitude or knowledge about food intolerance that people have. Including me.
I ordered an allergy friendly breakfast. 3 sunny side up eggs, 3 slices bacon and one avocado., I was served scrambled eggs? 3 tiniest slices of bacon most likely served on a Hilton and 1/4 of an avocado. Price? There cinema tickets. When I informed I didn’t t ordered scrambled eggs. Person replied to me with a Negative attitude. This sums up my stay at The Tapestry Collection and this is Hilton 2025.
I will never stay here again.

Wonderful hotel with a great location next door to campus. Free parking, cute bar and friendly, helpful staff. We will definitely return.

Clean and Quiet
I had business at the University and they put me up in this hotel. When I checked in they couldn't find the card on the reservation from the University, so I had to call my hosts and get it worked out. Once I called and offered my own card, the desk clerk changed his mind and said he'd let me check in without a card. Not sure why he made me call my hosts.
My room 225 was large, clean, and quiet. The floors were really creaky, so I was worried I'd hear noise from the hall at night, but I didn't. The view out the window was nothing special. There was a small fridge in the room which was helpful.
The hotel serves a very limited breakfast and dinner menu at their bar. The dinner didn't seem to have anything vegetarian that was interesting, so I skipped it. I did have breakfast one day-- avocado toast with an egg. The bread they used was just ok, but the "everything" seasoning on top was a nice touch.
They have a small sundries area with drinks both alcoholic and non and snacks, which is nice after a long day on campus.
The staff I encountered, other than that first one, were all really friendly and helpful. They don't have very many tv channels, but you can log in to your own Netflix on their TV if you want to.

Standard Hilton, watch out for wheelchair access rooms
I was really excited to stay at this hotel because of the cool outdoor look and proximity to Syracuse. I arrived late on Friday night and found my room (244) to be a prison cell. It was maybe 10x10, with one high up window that I couldn’t see out of. For $300/night including taxes. The next morning I did complain to the hotel manager and was given $100 off and moved to a much nicer room. While I appreciate these actions by the hotel manager, I am writing this review to say to the hotel this room should not be rented . It is a storage closet. And, to top it off, it is a wheelchair access room. Why would you put someone in a wheelchair in a room Where there is no room to move around and no window to see out of ? Horrible. the hotel decor is also very disappointing. They did almost nothing to leverage the hotels original decor-it’s just a bland Hilton hotel with no character. (In the lobby there are a couple of design elements that are clearly leftover from the hotels prior use as a synagogue but it’s so dominated by the bland beige interior it’s barely noticeable, and the rest of the hotel is just a standard Hilton chain hotel without any character at all.)
