Perfect Romantic River View Getaway (and dog friendly!)

We just spent our ninth annual weekend at Wilder & Pine, and already can't wait for next year!
This is the perfect place for a romantic getaway with maximum rest & relaxation. We jokingly call it our "shrimp boil" weekend, because we are either in the room's jetted bubble bath, in the deck hot tub overlooking the river, or at Carson Hot Springs during our waking hours.
The cabins are rustic luxury, with unbeatable views, a well-stocked kitchenette, stylish furnishings, and the most comfortable bedding I've encountered in my many travels. A turntable and vinyl in place of a TV is a great push to unplug--it's so serene, to listen to music and watch the river and its wildlife roll by.
The town of Stevenson is wonderful, and we always try to hit El Rio, Walking Man Brewery, Big River Grill, Red Bluff, and Clark & Lewies. It always blows our minds when the warm and welcoming locals remember us from years past.
The two factors that put this property so far above the rest are the fact that it's extremely dog friendly, and the manager, Lisa, is an angel. She is so accommodating and wonderful, they're lucky to have her (and so are guests!). She has gone so far above and beyond for us, we feel like royalty.
I cannot recommend this property enough!

Best Anniversary Trip Ever!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Manager Lisa went above and beyond. She brought us gorgeous bouquet of flowers and prosecco for our anniversary. The cabin was immaculate and beautifully furnished. The property is well maintained and has beach access. This exceeded my expectations by far! I'm absolutely returning with my family next summer and will rent several cabins at that time. Thanks so much Wilder & Pine and Lisa!

Dear Jasmine, it was MY pleasure to host you both for your special day! I'm so happy you had a wonderful "get away", and can't wait to welcome you back very soon. Here at Wilder and Pine, our guests really matter to us, and I'm happy we exceeded all your expectations.
Thank you for the "kudos" to me also!

Location, Charm, Cleanliness !

If you wish to be within walking distance of restaurants, on the water, and close to the scenic Columbia River Gorge waterfall drive and Mt. Hood, then this is for you! The manager, Lisa, spoke with us on the phone and gave many helpful recommendations for nearby sites and activities. Bonus was watching windsurfers launch next door from a grassy lot! Be advised that the train tracks (vital for the area loggers) are within several hundred feet and the whistle can be heard day and night. Our room, #9, was very spacious and spotless with kitchen and AC, located on the 2nd floor. There is a television located in the first floor lounge. Suggest visiting the Columbia Gorge Museum first! Enjoy!

Ann, thank you for the "detailed" review and photos! Such a pleasure to host you. We love hearing from our guests about their stay, and it sounds like we met the standard with yours. :)
I love sharing with our guests the really neat places we have here in the Columbia Gorge. Next time you're coming this way, just give me a call for some new ideas and places to see.

Charming Cabin with everything that you need in the best location.

My husband and I stayed at Wilder and Pine while he was attending a conference at the lodge. It was so nice having our little home away from home with everything that we needed. The location is absolutely perfect with many restaurants and shops walkable. The beautiful cherry trees growing right outside our window was a nice surprise. And though I hadn’t rode a bike in years I loved it! Such such a nice touch. And the soaking tub was spectacular to lay in after a long day exploring. We will be back.

Thank you Nancy for the review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us here at Wilder and Pine. I am glad to hear you enjoyed riding one of our new bicycles and the soaking tub we provide. I can't wait to welcome you both back. The colors of the leaves in the fall are beautiful, so I suggest calling us this fall to come and enjoy another stay as "your home away from home". :)

Hidden Gem in the Columbia Gorge

These little cabins with hot tubs right on the Columbia River are a real treasure. They are thoughtfully appointed and the views are great. We explored Stevenson and White Salmon, hiked and enjoyed watching the wind surfers and the eagles too. We will definitely be back.

Dear Guest, thank you so much for your review. We look forward to having our guests enjoy their stays and want to come back. Wilder and Pine views cannot be beat! If you were lucky enough to see bald eagles, it must have been an extra treat. Please remember to book in advance, as summer season is very busy! Thanks again,
PS-if this is Kathryn, thank you for the flowers! :)
