Lovely stay at Carriage Way Inn. Our room was very comfortable, bathroom was small but had a great shower. Breakfast and small amenities were very good and the location was wonderful to visit historic St. Augustine.
Only regret was not asking for maid service as we thought it would be included in our two night stay. Sandy was warm and hospitable.

Carriage Way Inn has a good location in an old historic neighborhood. Near museums and restaurants. Free parking. Some St. Aug. streets are narrow and a little scary in the dark, because illumination can be low. (not because of crime) We chose a ground floor room to avoid steep stairs. Our room was charming but very cramped for space. No desk, only one night-table, no storage for toiletries, personal items, etc. in either the bathroom or bedroom. A few shelves and hooks will help a lot. Bed linens were lovely, room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful but the inn seemed understaffed.
Breakfast was good and coffee and cookies are available for guests, as well as soft drinks and wine.

We had a lovely stay in this historic building in a wonderful ensuite room on the ground floor.
The whole place was decorated with grace and charm and the people were very friendly and helpful.
It is in a great location with the historic area of St Augustine completely within walking distance and it seemed like there is parking for every room.

This was our second stay at the Carriage Way Inn and we enjoyed it almost as much as our first stay.
It's under new management and they are all very friendly and polite and attended to all of our needs.
The only change we don't like is that the guests from their sister inn a few houses down the street all come over for breakfast. It gets very busy now in the mornings and if you rent any of the downstairs rooms you will get a ot of noise from 7:30am to about 10:30am and since they moved in more tables guests will be eating right infront of your room especially the Ruby room. Really dont like the fact guests looking into your bedroom when you try to get out to eat.
We heard that they plan to move the whole breakfast to their sister inn but that beats the purpose of a bed and breakfast under one roof. Who wants to walk down the street to eat your breakfast and especially when its raining or cold.
They should keep it separately like it was in the past.
Still we had a wonderful stay and will definitely return and hope the owners are changing their mind with these changes.
Parking is included and you are right in the historical part of the town. All within walking distance. No car needed.
