Always enjoyable but had some suggestions. We had a double bed room (321). It had 2 desk areas but only one chair and one lamp and no outlets at the second desk.
The shades would keep the room more private if they opened top to bottom.

Great stay - check in was a breeze and we were able to check in early, which was nice! Clean hotel, very friendly staff and the location can’t be beat!

Property is very well located, particularly if you are planning to visit NCSU. On main transportation line. Staff were very fiendly and helpful, including in addressing a couple of special requests. The property does need some updating in decor and things like carpet. There was a very loud fan/vent in the 6th floor hallway. The lobby bar is excellent, if a bit pricey (which is probably typical of a hotel bar). Overall a very good experience.

I was not impressed with the look or condition of the hotel. The flooring seemed worn out, the air conditioning unit kept us all night by going on and off. It was loud and not well regulated. The room was really small and the price was really high.

This is the second time I have stayed here. I love how close it is to NC State and my student’s apartment. Its location allowed our family to enjoy so many of the restaurants on Hillsborough. The parking garage is very convenient. Honestly, my only complaint is that the air conditioning is extremely loud and wakes you up every time it turns on and off.
