Great value.
Check in was ok, with one oddity. As I said, we stay exclusively at Hilton properties but while checking in in-person, the check in person asked us for a credit card for incidentals. Never had this happen before at any Hilton - ever. I asked him about it and he said it standard at all Hilton properties. I inquired more and then he became snippy saying I must not read the fine print. Perhaps, but I’ve never given my CC for incidentals.
Anyway, we got out waters and cookie and up to the room we went.
My wife like Homewood as they have ceiling fans in their rooms. And this room had that.
We had thought of going to a bar/grill nearby for some food and drinks, but decided since we had the wine and Grubhub delivers free to Hilton properties, we ordered in and got some great hamburgers from a small mom-n-pop, Hotline Burgers.
We had a relaxing evening just decompressing.
As for the room, a/c units in bedroom and kitchen/living room - super cold. Nice little kitchen. Bathroom had what it needed - hot water with good pressure.
Like many Hilton properties, this one had their breakfast buffet and this particular one had a nice addition to the menu - smoked shredded chicken for breakfast tacos. It was actually very good.
This is an older property as you can see the age in some places, but I would stay here again when the need arises.
And if you want a good burger - Hotline Burgers just up Hwy 6 a bit. As for the free Grubhub delivery, I just opened the Grubhub app and it automatically detected my location and zeroed out the delivery fees.
