This place is hazardous to your health, should be torn down and rebuilt.
It doesn't look bad from the lobby, but boy oh boy our room is a dump. We stayed in 422. We were going to move at the very beginning; however, when they told us that "it is just the age of the hotel and the weather outside" and "all rooms would be pretty much the same", we decided to stay.
First and foremost, the room smells horrific. It smells like a combination of sewage with a dash of musty and a hint of mildew. It got tamed a little bit, when we turned on the A/C; however, we couldn't leave the A/C on because it was not that warm outside.
The sheets and blanket on the bed felt damp. The room is in need of a good refresh, with chips and marks everywhere. There is a hole in the bathroom wall. The nightstand on one side of the bed is leaning at about 15 degrees.
And another huge issue. The bathroom counter may fall off the wall in a few weeks. It is leaning at an incredible 20 degrees downward and looks like it may fall off the wall at any time. It is embarrassing. Don't plan on putting anything slippery or with wheels on the counter....it won't stay. The bathroom counter is currently pulling the entire wall away from the support columns behind the wall.
The BIGGEST ISSUE - This room has a serious black mold problem. There is black mold evident everywhere in this bathroom. There is either an old leak or an ongoing leak, and take one look underneath the counter and there is mold everywhere. There is mold on the ceiling.
After the first night in this room, and the person telling us all rooms are like this, we decided to demand instead of ask --- for a different room. They did move us to 426. It was much better. That made our second night much more enjoyable. However, I think this hotel has major issues, which is ashame, since it was only constructed about 10 years ago. Maybe partial foundation issues? Even in the new room, you could tell the entire room was partially tilted/leaning to one side.
I was told that the current owners only purchased this hotel about 3 months ago, and "it needs a lot of work"
The good news is that the mini fridge works, the outlets work, the bathroom appeared pretty clean.
This one is going on the "not again" list.

Then I move rooms. The front desk person wanted me to go all the way back downstairs with all my things and get the key. I told him I couldn't do that. So he brought the key up to me reluctantly. After moving rooms I found the coffee Maker was broken. She toilet wouldn't flush and the next day. I didn't have hot water for 3 hours out of the morning. Answer late, check out on hotels.com and in person, and over the phone there. Still wanna checking out no new about it. Even though it was set approved. And finally the room I was moved to had a broken phone. Didn't work not really sure what worked there at all. And it was raised apart as far as cleaning as carpet was very dirty
