Totally upgraded

This hotel has been completely redone. It is bright and clean and new. Beds, pillows and rooms are comfortable. Coffee was surprisingly good although it’s not always hot. And you can’t tell kitchen staff because she doesn’t speak English. Speaking of staff, all were friendly and accommodating.
The fitness room has a good selection of equipment but not all machines were working. I didn’t lower my rating because I believe they are working on this room which also needs sanitizing wipes and water. Again, I could see they were working on it while we were there.
We will definitely stay at Hampton Blue Ash again.

Hotel amenities were lacking - 2 of 3 treadmills were not working and the 3rd one stopped while I was running; blankets were as thin as sheets; had to ask to shampoo and conditioner; and pool hardly had any towels.

No water pressure in the shower and it would only get to lukewarm at best. Told the front desk and they did something on their end to make it hotter. However it was so hot it was scalding. Basically unable to take showers for 2 days, light in the bathroom didn’t work and overall bad experience.

Cold Experience

This hotel did not really have the features advertised upon reservation. Most notably, we chose this hotel over others in the area for the indoor pool so our children could swim in winter. The pool was visibly not kept up well when we walked in. Upon entering the pool area, though, we discovered it also wasn’t heated! After speaking with the hotel staff they assured us that the pool has NO heater. The theme continued, as we left the pool area to warm up with showers, only to discover the hot water in the room only lasts about 3-4 minutes.

The parking lot had not been cleared of snow and we needed handicap parking access. The handicap spots had not been cleared either and there was not any access to the sidewalks themselves from the parking surface. Also the sidewalk only had a snow shovel width path cleared all the way around the lot.
