I booked the reservation through VRBO, so I while I knew it would be a hotel by the picture, I didn't know which one or what kind of room it was. But, it was fine. Check-In was a breeze and getting help from the front desk (lost card key, demagnetized key) was very easy.
The room was good too. It's a studio suite (is that an oxymoron?). I had a hard time trying to figure out the thermostat in the room as no matter what I did I couldn't get the heat to kick on. Cool yes, Fan yes, Heat no. But no biggie, as it was alright with the fan setting. I like they have coffee ready in the market 24 hours a day and it's free. I never had to make my own!
I can't see anything Sonesta did wrong. So while others may have had issues, for me, it's just fine. No problems at all.

Waited over 10 minutes to check in, then upon room arrival bathroom floor was sticky and two spiders on the wall

The hotel smelled of "weed". Multiple people smoking "weed" outside the front entrance all the time. The shower did not work. Maintenance came and fixed it and the fix was a trickle of water out of the shower head with no shower pressure. The water was lukewarm and never got hot.

This is a quiet yet great location for easy access to town. The hotel allows for very comfortable long term stays and provides all the requirements for staying in and not needing to eat out. Free use of washer and dryer and a substantial fitness room are a great perk.

Pricing is ok compared to other hotels in the area. The $10 parking fee is ridiculous, especially condiering the condition of the parking lot! Set up makes it a bit difficult to manage entering & exiting with luggage carts. No breakfast but we appreciate the ability to get a room with an actual closing door for the 1 bedroom suites. Kitchens is amply set up & usually has everything we need! We stay here often as the pros definitely out weigh any cons. Rooms are always clean & comfortable.
