Overnight stay

Stayed last night after a show at the Globe. Perfect location for the theatre as it is literally just up the road. Staff were helpful and public areas spotlessly clean. Paid an extra £5 to upgrade room but not worth it as the room was still basic. Had a few stains on the carpet which could have done with a clean but all in all it was adequate for a one night stay. Breakfast was good.

Amazing stay

Myself and my husband stayed at the Hampton by Hilton and we can honestly say that the staff cannot do enough for you. We had a very busy day and called to let the hotel know that we would be arriving very late, after usual check in. They waited up for us and greeted us very warmly. After attending a local event the next day, we arrived back at the hotel for our second night’s stay. The event had been a dry venue so the staff kept the bar open late for us to have a drink and relax. Shaun and Justin were fantastic. Laughs, jokes and a couple glasses of wine for us was no trouble for them. When we find ourselves over here again, we will definitely be back! The rooms are well maintained and clean, and the beds are very comfy. 10/10

Going the Extra Mile

Had a very enjoyable stay. Hotel clean,cdrinks and food ok
Slight discrepancy over a parking issue which Andrew Turnbull was only to happy to help me with. Big thanks for the help

Our stay was brilliant, cleanliness of the hotel and room was 100%. Staff were lovely especially towards my 8 year old daughter.
Only thing I think requires improvement is the children's menu.

Unfortunately I did not stay. The bed was old, uncomfortable and very noisy. Not the standard I would expect of any hotel especially a Hampton by Hilton one! There is no way we could have slept in such awful conditions so we requested to change rooms or change mattress. Sadly hotel was full and they have no spare mattresses so all they could do was offer additional blankets/duvets on the bed in an attempt to make it better but this was not satisfactory. Night manager Sophie was truly apologetic and agreed the bed was not acceptable but had little they could do. We booked somewhere else to ensure a good night sleep at our cost and inconvenience and still waiting for the refund promised but as of yet not received for my unsuccessful attempted stay.
