Super delicious food with very friendly service staff

We have been to Schaffhausen for the third time in the last three years and have enjoyed the aperitif and the delicious dinner several times at the Hotel Kronenhof. Many thanks to the very nice service staff who always try their best to pamper the guests. Always happy to come back and look forward to next time

Small (tiny) bathroom, mattress too soft, pillows too soft. Tiny elevator (1 person size). Breakfast was okay but not special. A lot to improve in my opinion.

Hotel is nice in a good location but internal noise is very loud for example people walking in rooms above, noise from adjoining rooms and even noise from kitchen. Additional pillows would improve comfort and toiletries such as hair conditioner and moisturiser would be nice.

More Senior upgrades in the bathroom facilities (shower floors very sleepery & no handle bars for safety to hold) otherwise very satisfied. Remember there always can be lmprovements.

A Charming Hotel

We loved this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and we had a terrific view of Munot. The town is absolutely charming and we enjoyed walking around everywhere — including to the Munot and the falls (about a 45-minute walk). The only negative point was that the bathroom door (a sliding door) did not close all the way and there was a bit of a crack so it was hard to be a bit discrete! We will stay here again when we return.
