Another great stay at Sunstar hotel, Lenzerheide. Great service from check in staff. Very clean & comfortable hotel with easy access to restaurants, buses & Lenzerheide town a short walk away.

The worst barley soup by far!

Yesterday we had a little bite to eat on the terrace at the Hotel Sunstar. I then ordered a Grisons barley soup (speciality in Graubünden), then served a lukewarm water broth with some milk or cream in it and some barley, pure zero taste, absolutely terrible ! The service clerk didn’t even want to know if it tasted good when she was cleaning up. Never again....

Centrally located hotel with excellent service

We had a perfect week of skiing in Lenzerheide and especially in the Hotel Sunstar. Very attentive and friendly staff. The culinary package with a 4-course menu for CHF 61 is worth it: every evening there is a wide selection of meat, fish or vegetarian dishes. Plus a starter, soup or salad and dessert and/or fruit or cheese buffet. Very positive and to eliminate food waste: slightly smaller portions, but with the option to reorder. Also a large breakfast buffet that leaves nothing to be desired.
Very well-kept pool with three saunas and an infrared cabin. Relaxation room with loungers and a view of the snow-capped mountains. Including drinks and light snacks.

Bad food!!!

We return to this hotel for the summer holidays but unfortunately unlike the previous experience, we can only save breakfast, acceptable room cleaning but a real disaster the food in the evening,, dishes practically arrived at the table cold, poorly cooked and presented, practically money wasted, the last two nights we preferred to dine out, luckily!!!!iin winter we will not return, too bad!!!

Nice hotel right in the center

Pleasant break, excellent staff > always helpful and friendly! Very animal-friendly hotel, highly recommended for dog owners. Menu could be improved though...
Spa area = unfortunately a bad concept... The relaxation room has a snack bar/tea, drinks etc. - while some people try to relax there, guests from the adjacent swimming pool keep coming and helping themselves. The door always slams shut with a lot of noise, teacups clatter like in a milk kitchen and discussions about whether there should be nuts or dried apricots as well...
