Basic and precarious.
The tiny room and the bathroom too. The sheets and pillows old and yellowish. The elevator from the last century.

Solo Traveller
The room was small but enough for one person, it was clean, had good aircon and even a nespresso machine in the room (pod purchase €1). Wifi connection worked well, right next to a train station and across the road from a taxi rank. Solid walking distance towards Grand Via but plenty to see as you go. My one request would be bigger signage as I did struggle to find the entrance, otherwise I had a very pleasant stay here.

Great Value for Money in Madrid
This is a great value for money hostel in Madrid, it is clean, has great working air conditioners, great clean new bathroom and fast working Wifi and a TV. The bed and bedsheets are new and comfortable.
The location is about 15 minutes walk from Plaza de Espana across from the shopping center la Cote Ingles.
The building has an elevator in a historic building.
I would recommend this lodging to anyone going to Madrid. ( the picture that you see in the profile is the actual picture of the room, The room also has a balcony facing Calle Princesa)
