Pleasant stay
Well-appointed and functional rooms with partial sea views. Bathroom with a nice shower and great body products.
Very comfortable bed and excellent Wi-Fi reception.
Cleanliness impeccable and very kind the lady who took care of tidying up the rooms.
Great experience, would definitely stay again!

Stayed two nights in Fairfield by Marriott Busan to be close to Marina City for an event in mid October 2024.
📍Location: Fairfield by Marriott Busan is located in a less eventful part of Busan. Not the best pick if you want to be where the action is. I have stayed near the Busan train station and in Nampo previously and enjoyed those parts of Busan more.
🚕 Accessibility: it takes about 15 minutes' walk to the hotel (with luggage on uneven roads) from the drop off point at What The Burger which is where the Haeundae Intercity Bus alighted customers from Incheon Airport. The bus journey takes close to 5.5 hours with two rest stops and a stop at Nopo Terminal.
Kakao Taxi fare from Fairfield by Marriott Hotel to Haeundae Intercity Bus Terminal costs about KRW5000-6000.
🛌🏽 Room: No complaints for the price point and what you see is what you get as befitting a Marriott property. There is construction opposite the hotel so paying for the city view on a high floor will avoid that if you are bothered by a construction view. The sea is not nearby so look for another option if that is important.
👣 Amenities: I did read another review about the paper thin room slippers and wisely packed a pair from home.
🍲 Food Options: I arrived at night and didn't find too many food options in the evening as everything seems to be closed early. There are convenience shops nearby and a Paris Baguette a few blocks away.
Hotel breakfast is available at Bistro 314 on Level 2 of the hotel at a discounted rate of 16,500KRW for hotel guests if you book in advance.
🏋️ There is a fitness centre on Basement 1 next to the self service coin laundry.
Rating: 3⭐
Stay here if you have business nearby and want to save time travelling but not as a tourist with limited time wanting to explore the best of what Busan has to offer.

Stuffy stay in the winter ❄️
Was informed that Fairfied Asia Pacific does not honor included breakfast for Platinum or Titanium Elite. Would have been nice to have a grab & go breakfast or at least some decent coffee, as only instant in room ☕️
Braved the elements to a Starbucks nearby and Pascussi on the beach the next day.
Coffee machine in the lobby that looked like for purchase, next to a vending machine of disposable toiletries
Front desk gave us a sheet regarding the thermostat in the room, instructing you to turn off the heater and open the window. Could deal with the small room for the great location, but not for how stuffy and uncomfortable it was.
Even more so on the latter part of the stay when the room rate doubled (weekend) Closed the window on returning in the evening but woke up early the next morning stuck to the sheets, as the room was like a sauna
It’s a small room with an open floor plan to save space so the shower door is also the bathroom door Saves them on building materials but really limits your privacy.
There is a sliding door that goes across the room behind the sink.
Maybe an older hotel before as no lighted DND sign either.
Modern touches are USB ports at bed nightstands and Samsung smart TV. Limited channels but had Netflix and YouTube buttons. Enjoyed BBC Earth in the morning, unfortunately with instant coffee ☕️ ♂️
Water bottles,no minibar. Ice machine and buckets in basement by the gym.
Location for price the pro, but would never stay here again in the winter ❄️
