Great location and good facilities, but don't bother with the more expensive options

GOOD POINTS
*The location (within an easy 5-minute stroll of the Raffles Place metro and close to both the river and the Marina Bay area) was the main reason we chose to stay here, and it was perfectly situated.
*Our room, like the hotel itself, was very clean.
*The bathroom was nicely appointed, and the shower was very spacious.
*There was more than enough wardrobe space for everything we wanted to hang up and put away, plus one of the cupboards had an easy to use and reliable electronic safe in it.
*Once we figured out how it all worked, the lighting and air conditioning systems were very good. The air conditioning was also split between the main level and the loft, which meant we could (and did) use one or the other depending which part we were using.
*The pool was lovely, and towels were provided. Being open until 10.00 pm was great, as that was the best - and quietest - time of day to use it. There's also a jacuzzi, but I couldn't get it to work (but maybe that was just me being a bit dense).
*The walking track around the outside of the hotel is a great idea and really well designed.
*The WiFi was fast and reliable.
*The electronic Do Not Disturb function was a great addition, and the cleaners respected our privacy throughout our stay.
BAD POINTS
*Given the already high cost of the ordinary loft, we decided we might as well pay extra for the Grand Loft. My advice to anyone thinking of doing the same is: don't bother. We were attracted by the extra 10 m2 of space, but it turns out that's pretty much all useless corridor space. Everything else is basically exactly the same as in the smaller loft.
*Even with the significantly expanded width, the bedroom area on the loft level was no wider. In fact it was very pokey, plus there was just the single mattress on the floor, and the bed linen was the non-breathing variety which gets uncomfortable in a climate like Singapore has (even with air conditioning).
*The sofa in the living area was (we think) a fold-down futon, and therefore quite uncomfortable to sit on, and it also smelled a bit musty. Plus the dining table was too high for it, and only one other chair was provided in the space, which was also slightly too low for it.
*The kitchen was stocked with basic appliances, pots and pans, etc. but had the bare minimum number of utensils - which were kind of hidden in a drawer-within-a-drawer.
*It took us a long time to work out the curtains were electric, as it wasn't explained anywhere.
*When it wasn't impossible to get the TV to work, it was very unresponsive.
*Certain things, like the complimentary slippers and the fridge, were presumably designed primarily with Asian guests in mind and were a bit too low/small for us (two Western men).
*Considering that the nearest decently sized supermarket is at least a 15-walk away, and given how much (unused) space there is on the lobby level, the hotel could do with having its own small cafe or breakfast bar or something.

Two Night!

As with all things in Singapore, the Apart’otel was clean, friendly & efficient. The staff at Sol&Luna were so kind, we weren’t hungry, just came up to visit! The woman keeping the lobby & pool areas clean spoke little English, but she went above & beyond to make sure we were taken care of.

The property was very clean including all the enmities. The pool are is very beautiful and Zen relaxing. We ordered once a refill of toiletries in our room by calling front desk from the room and to our surprise it was delivered by a cute and very friendly robot. We were amazed with that hotel feature:)

Highly practical room design - they pack a lot of functionality into a small space. Combined with the coffee/grab n go and coworking amenities on level 9 this makes a great independent/business base for a single or couple. The location in their heart of raffles place couldn't be more convenient either with easy access to food and shops and 3 MRT lines within a few minutes walk/
