First Visit to Serbia
The room was pleasant but the transparent shower room doors are a bit odd. You need to travel with close friends to stay here.
I was offered a free glass of wine 'later' for a positive review. I won't be bribed but when later I was asked if I'd left my review I mentioned the wine, it wasn't forthcoming. I'm not a drinker, it didn't matter.
The staff are basically an unfriendly bunch although the owner was a nice chap and Ivana was amazing. She's very funny, welcoming, helpful and a delight to chat to. If the rest of the team could learn to smile from her that would be a massive win.
Housekeeping is the most basic I've ever come across. We had the bin emptied once mid week. It looked like the bed had been straightened but it was left quite tidy anyway. Hard to tell. Other than that nobody went into the room at all. It's not the end of the world, We don't need fresh bedding and towels every day. We can make the bed ourselves and a stack of toilet rolls in the hall meant you could help yourself.
Breakfast was basic. A simple selection from five, maybe six, items and you're allowed to choose two. The little rolls with jam were very nice.
All was generally ok and nothing about it spoilt the experience we had of exploring Serbia. We love it.
