It’s not our first stay to Savoy Timișoara, so for us to come back it means we are happy with the stay.
Bad things :
1. Prices for the minibar - exaggerated if you ask me.
2. A bit more responsible with the cleaning - in the bathroom, on the top shower rail, the dust was present to the point that I placed my towel there and I took it out with a stripe of dust.
3. Speaking of towels, for crying out loud, do something about the smell, use some conditioner or some perfume -they stink. Also, it feels like you are using sand paper.
Good things :
1. Lovely breakfast - maybe not the most varied one but really tasty.
2. Lovely chap in the restaurant - clearly not Romanian - but his way of talking, really professional and good knowledge of the language. English speaker too. Well done mate.
3. Check in, the receptionist was lovely and explained everything.
4. Quiet : it was soooooo quiet.
Overall an above average experience, I just wish the cleanliness was a bit more better as well as taking care of the sandpaper (ahem) towels.

Great place for your home away from home. So convenient, in the middle of city. Rooms are huge and very clean. Breakfast is great. Parking might be a little issue, sometimes all spots are taken and might need to park in public parking across the street.

Lovely hotel, beautiful large, extra tall rooms, very clean and quiet, beautiful bathtoom, very elegant.
Short walking distance from the town Centre, Cathedral, parks along the river, shopping.
Very friendly staff.

The condition of the property and the location close to the old town centre are excellent.

Great experience overall! Very friendly and helpful staff, very clean rooms, decent price for the location, we will always consider it when we are in Timisoara.
Position is ideal if you like to spend time in the old city centre and enjoy walking along the Bega canal.
