Complete ELYU getaway for couples
1. Location
This is located near the bypass road and away from the beach area. There is no pool. However, they have their own beach at Alaia.
2. Place
The place is aesthetic and modern industrial. I do not remember if there's an elevator because I enjoyed taking the stairs.
3. Food
I am contented with the selections during the breakfast buffer. It was diverse.
4. Parking
During our visit, the parking was back, and it was spacious. Recently, it was converted into Xen.
5. Transportation
Free jeepney transportation to Alaia and to the Urbiztondo beach so it was less hassle for us since we do not need to bring our car whenever we need to go to the beach area.
6. Price
5970 pesos for one room for two persons during peak season as it was December 26, 2023 then.
7. Staff
They are attentive and helpful.

Wonderful service in Patio by Balai Norte
It’s the 1st time I stayed in Patio. Thanks to the staff who provide us the best service. The room is clean and nice with a home aesthetic ambiance with fully equipped with good amenities.
The location of the hotel is very convenient. It is near in the surfing spot and San JUan Municipality, 711.
The breakfast is nice! Plenty of choices, especially the Filipino Favorites! I Special thanks to the guard, front desk and reservation at the entrance, they are very friendly and polite. Also, the Vista server, he’s very busy with many orders, but still served us professionally.
One more credit to the bell team. They are very attentive. Whenever I got off from the taxi, passed by the lobby, holding my luggage, they always greeted me with smiles.
Highly recommend it to everyone who visits La Union!

BEYOND EXPECTATIONS
Patio by Balai Norte will always be my home away from home. The hotel staff are excellent and very accommodating to my every need. Stayed in Patio for a relaxing staycation and it is a wonderful experience. The restaurants serve great food and drinks. I highly recommend Patio for business or personal trips to La Union

Pet Loving Hotel in San Juan La Union
Stayed here for 3 nights. Property is on the main road and a 5-minute tricycle ride to surf town.
The Amazing
1. Excellent Service - Everyone will always greet you “Great Morning/Evening.” They are cheerful and happy to assist you from security to room service.
2. Pet-Loving Hotel - Pets are able to roam around with no restrictions. Staff is very well-trained and they do their best to interact with our fur babies.
The Good
1. Breakfast Buffet - Was pleasantly surprised with their spread. Plenty of choices for everyone from taho station, soup, salad, and 6-8 viands. We love the bread pudding and roasted potatoes. Only offered during weekends.
2. Location - Surf town can be chaotic and noisy so this hotel provides restful stay. Proximity to the beach area is just a short tricycle ride and will cost you 60 pesos per way for peace of mind and stress-free parking.
3. Good restaurant - Both the tapas bar and all day breakfast are good. We always order their signature iced tea to cool down and the meals we had for dinner were delicious.
The Not So Good
1. T&B - The bathroom has mold stains in between the shower tiles. Also water accumulates due to leaky bidet. Toilet clogs easily. They have a water heater but hot water non-existent. Also did not like the tea bath gel as it gives off freshly squashed insect smell. No face and hand towels. No separate beach towel.
2. Room - No fridge to keep drinks cold and left over meals. Only 2 pillows for 2 persons. They do not replenish the bottled water per day of your stay.

Everything about our stay here was perfect from start to finish. The restaurants are amazing and the daily variety of activities gave us something to look forward to at all times.
