Super clean. The staffs are all friendly and accomodating. The place is so peaceful. If you want a place where you can just sit back and relax in your room. I suggest this.

Cheap place to sleep and plan your days in Butuan - not a place to enjoy

I wanted to give this place a "Poor" rating - but I have to be kind and add that they were busy making repairs and improvements to the hotel. So maybe the next time - it will be more comfortable to sleep here overnight. They have a dining place where you can order a meal; so you can go downstairs and have breakfast. The staff are friendly and the reception is good enough for purpose. They have a power-switching key-fob which turns off the power once you take the key with you. Security seem good as at night they have a guard dog; just make sure you don't go out at night into the main yard. Some rooms have a fridge to keep your drinks cool. There are cupboards to hang your clothes in.
Downside: the 1st room we got - the toilet extractor fan was appallingly noisy. The toilet smelt bad; like something was dead in the pipes. The tap for the sink did not work - so no water to wash our hands. The Aircon was old and large and it was very noisy too. The 2nd room was better, but smaller and did not have a fridge. The tap also did not work in the toilet. The Aircon was smaller but also old and noisy. On both rooms there are no telephone system to contact Reception - so you have to walk to the Reception booth and make a request. There are only fans in the dining room; not Aircon.
I can recommend if you really want to go as cheap as possible.
