Great stay!

Hotel Van de Vijsel is situated in an excellent part of Amsterdam. Close to great restaurants, museums and access to Hop on Hop off buses and boats. The rooms are a good size with comfortable beds and nice hot showers. The rooms are serviced each day and the staff are very helpful.

No luxury here

Not really a comfortable stay. Bed was extremely uncomfortable and cleaners could take up to mid afternoon to service the room.

Good Stay

Great hotel in a good location. It’s within walking distance of all attractions. We loved it for the quietness and location. Rooms are generous size, comfortable and great shower. Really clean too.
We did encounter some unfriendly staff but most were helpful.

Nice Hotel

The receptionists were helpful and friendly. The room was cozy and clean. We were able to walk to our destinations in about half an hour each from the hotel.
