Hotel charmer

Posada Del Sol is a charming hotel, just a few blocks from the water. It is thoughtfully designed, with a number of outdoor patios where you can relax and read or converse. There are colorful murals on many walls. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfy. We enjoyed breakfast in their outdoor dining area.

Spotless and delightful

The moment I walked into the hotel courtyard I loved it. There was a big beautifully painted whale on the ground, a map of the islands on the wall, painted wall with fish by the pool, and colorful tiles everywhere. The front desk folks were so helpful. Roberto was great at the desk. There was a little store with fantastic sun shirts, etc. We had breakfast poolside with plenty to eat. Delicious food. The rooms were delightful, spacious, clean, with comfortable beds. Balconies, sitting areas with potted plants. I could not ask for more

We absolutely love the fact you immediately LOVED our hotel upon walking into the courtyard! We have worked to design the property to be just that, inviting with unique Mexican charm. As well we wanted plenty of outdoor spaces for folks to relax and enjoy the lovely warm temps of La Paz while being outdoors!
We appreciate your comments regarding all the little details that make our hotel and outfitting business so unique such as the painted murals depicting life in Baja, helpful staff, little store for last minute items, poolside breakfast cafe and the MANY balconies/patios for outdoor living!

Friendly Service, Relaxing Atmosphere

The employees are so very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and lovely. The rooftop patio is perfect. The breakfasts were delectable! The location is convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. It is very quiet and restful. We would stay here again!

Pretty building, somewhat tired interior, nice breakfast

A posada down a narrow alley. Entrance way opens into an attractive courtyard with the pink stucco buildings. Stayed here twice for one night each. The first room faced the courtyard and was small and cramped and felt tired and in need of renovation. The second room faced the corridor and was larger but with no outside view. Both rooms had a surfeit of notices on what is not allowed. The second room (room 4) had 10 separate glued, taped or stapled notices dotted all over. Not a very welcome feel. Breakfast in the courtyard was lovely. Granola, yogurt, fruit, scrambled eggs.

We appreciate your feedback and it's good for folks to know each and every room at our hotel is very different and unique. Meanwhile, we'll need to check out room #4 for 10 separte notices scattered about! Yikes, I agree, sounds like overkill!

Luna y Sol *****

Beautiful and comfortable posada with friendly staff. Convenient to the Marecon, shopping and charming restaurants. Ask for the home made salsa picante for complementary breakfast at the posada. Best salsa of the trip by far. Highly recommended.
