The location it just less than 5 minute from Hakata station . It have Shinkansen line too . And if you wanna rent car for day trips or out of Fukuoka, it is very convenient too . The station come with few shopping malls connecting together and if you are not familiar you will get lost ! Haha but nothing to worry about it as long you follow the sign board , and food paradise eat whatever you like and craving for . Walking back in winter weather was amazing cool breeze! The hotel was quiet too , and you seldom will see anyone while in the hotel . Staff are friendly , attentive approachable. You can enjoy bath tub to release the tiredness when you have walk too too much after your sightseeing. To international airport it just 10 min by cab , around $1850 Yen , if you do not want to drag your luggage after your full full shopping. Happy staying 👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Modern and conveniently located.
This is my first time to stay at a hotel in Japan that's close to a train station. Unlike Europe, the environment around Hakata Station in Fukuoka is very lively and safe. So it's really nice to stay in a classy hotel like Hotel Nikko which is a short walk from Hakata Station. The hotel is modern, very clean and the hotel staff is very friendly. The hotel buffet breakfast is also recommended. Since this was my first visit to Fukuoka, I spent most of my time checking out all the stores at the multi-level Hakata Station. It was so convenient to walk back to the hotel as it was so close by.

Close to train station, especially enjoy breakfast buffet with good choices. It provides mix fruits juice , and vegetables juice .

I went with my family on vacation and we enjoyed the large room (we had one of the corner rooms with 3 beds and a good city view), the breakfasts were excellent and the service at breakfast was spot on, location was great. I wanted to note to other travelers though that I also had some important work calls with the U.S. in the early morning hours. Because my family was in the room, I had planned to come out and pick up a video call from the lobby/2nd floor, but didn't realize the hotel turns off all the lights apparently until 6am so the hotel was dark except for the spot right above the front desk. I asked the front desk if there was a lit corner I could use to make the call, and instead spent precious time before the call in a frustrating conversation where the two staff there who either didn't understand or refused to understand the ask and at the end told me that I was allowed to make only a voice call (and not a video call??) and that they didn't have a business room (there's a room on the second floor labeled a business room). With only minutes left for my call I had to cut off this exchange and ended up taking the meeting on the bathroom floor. Overall - I think they did all this work and investment for their customers, but were surprisingly unhelpful where I needed it the most, and were also surprisingly not understanding about global business.

Unprofessional Concierge Makes An Unpleasant Experience!
I’m a very regular guest of this hotel and during my last visit in February, I was made to feel totally redundant by the concierge YUUI’s schmuck attitude. I have already made another advance reservations and he not knowing my personal arrangements with my business associate for checking in; took it upon himself to complain to the front reception about me leaving with my suitcases for the airport; thus confusing them and having wasted my time in explaination!
After my last encounter with YUUI’s unprofessional and impertinent behaviour, I find it now extremely uncomfortable and frustrating checking into this hotel again.
My advice is DO NOT COMMUNICATE too much with the concierge like YUUI about your stay information otherwise, they’ll take it upon themselves to investigate you and cause unnecessary trouble for you.
After my last encounter with YUUI’s unprofessional and impertinent behaviour, I find it now extremely uncomfortable and frustrating checking into this hotel again.
