Quaint boutique Hotel
This was the first of three hotels we stayed at on our 35th-anniversary trip. It’s right on the canal and beautifully decorated. The staff was very accommodating. The food was amazing, and it felt like it took you back in time. I Highly recommend this hotel to the up-to-date modern hotels to get that old-world experience. .

Appreciable!
I enjoyed many things about this hotel, others a little less.
Definitely the location is fantastic! A portion on the enviable grand canal a few steps from Piazza San Marco. The sumptuous and lush style dominates everything, sometimes beautiful sometimes exaggerated but definitely appreciable. Some points should be taken up with minor renovations to keep up with the 5 stars. Of the same tone is the room which, particularly in the sitting area, is too rich in furniture and furnishings. Too bad there was no kettle and a coffee machine.
Nice bathroom... unfortunately no bidet! The location of the room on the first floor is somewhat unfortunate because in the early morning the unloading of goods creates an annoying noise.
I found the service in general very attentive and precise but I loved the small cuteness of the staff in the breakfast room. Their pampering together with a fantastic breakfast make the start of the day very pleasant.

Gritti Palace - Must Stay
The Gritti provided the most enjoyable stay. This palace, rich in history, provides a perfect backdrop to this incredible city. A fantastic location coupled with a beautiful interior makes the Gritti a must stay. Terrific staff, beautiful rooms and great food hit all the marks. Can’t wait to come back.

A true Venetian dream!
Absolutely divine, magical experience at the Gritti Palace. The views - Grand Canal! - the service, the decor, the rooms, were all exceptional and exceeded every expectation. All of the staff, especially the Concierge Team, went above and beyond to make our stay so lovely and memorable. Location can’t be beat. A true Venetian dream!

Rude staff.
My recent experience at the famous Gritti Palace, a location that undoubtedly embodies luxury and beauty in all its architectural nuances, has unfortunately been seriously compromised by a service unworthy of the prestige that this structure represents.
The staff, whose role would be to enhance the visitor experience, turned out to be nothing short of rude. The responses received were characterized by a mediocre tone and far from the politeness and courtesy that a place of such stature should guarantee. It is unacceptable that a guest, immersed in such a refined context, should feel treated with such little regard.
As for the prices, they fall within the expectations for a hotel of similar prestige: a single aperitif, including cocktails or spritz, starts from the figure of thirty euros to rise. However, this disbursement can only be even more burdensome in light of the service received, which stands in open contrast to the image of excellence that this structure should offer.
I will conclude by observing that, while the Gritti Palace deserves to be visited at least once for its undoubted beauty, it is my humble opinion that the management of the staff, in particular the waiter service, needs careful and profound rethinking.
