Excellent

The hotel has an excellent location, clean, big, and very comfortable rooms, a good breakfast, and pleasant staff. Thanks to the hotel staff for allowing early check-in without any fees. The most attractive places we could reach on foot. I positively recommend this hotel.

Terrible hotel! This is NOT a 4 star

We booked 2 double rooms for a short family vacation.
The website is completely misleading and the rooms look nothing like the website.
Breakfast is basic and barely edible. Don’t bother with the coffee as it tastes like dishwater.
The staff at reception are rude and unhelpful.
The cleaning and breakfast staff at least try but they have very little to work with.
The room is disgustingly to say the very least.
Small bathroom the water in the shower is either boiling hot or freezing cold. The hairdryer is broken.
Our beds had no headboards, when you lie on the bed you can feel the springs.
The curtains don’t close properly.
The paint is peeling off the walls and there is no space to open your suitcase and pack clothing away.
This is honestly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
Please don’t waste your time booking this.

Great location just off St Marks Square so very easy to walk or take boats to all the sights in Venice. Breakfast was included in price. Breakfast room had windows overlooking a canal which was nice. Plenty of nearby cafes and restaurants for supper. Helpful hotel staff.

Fantastic hotel

Have to be honest, have stayed near Venice several times but never in central Venice just of the Palazzo San Marco.
We had a suite at the hotel and have to say it was an authentic Venetian experience.
The room was fantastic, with a lovely Venetian theme, it was regularly cleaned and we found all the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. Bathroom was great and even had a free to use safe in the bedroom.
We booked the breakfast and I have to say it was really good. Full continental or scrambled eggs with bacon, croissants, lots of choices available.
Overall, would happily stay at this hotel again.
