Do yourself such a favour and stay here!

This hotel is a pure delight … I felt like I was living in an Italian movie !
The photos on Tripadvisor give you exactly what you will get….exquisite setting, exquisite breakfast room, terraces with a view from my dreams, and the added convenience of being within walking distance of the central city and the amphitheater and the public gardens. You can get better value for your money.
The breakfast was exceptional and the menu changed daily …this makes such a difference to me …different cakes, pastries, eggs. … all served with real Italian coffee…by kind and welcoming servers.
I should have stayed a week!

The hotel and staff are amazing, and one of the nicest breakfasts we've had in a hotel! the only thing that lets it down is the level of noise from surrounding rooms and taormina in general that affected our sleep

Charming and different

The hotel is not like the average hotel. It’s got a quirky old world charm and like everyone says, the views are amazing.
There are stairs which a few have commented on but to be fair you probably shouldn’t come to Taormina if you have an issue with stairs or hills as this place is built on them.
The staff were good but particular call out to Clinton. He looked after our luggage and drinks and snacks which were tasty and fairly priced.
The breakfast was very good and more importantly different from the standards repeated serving of big hotels. It is an old hotel but that’s their charm. My only call out would be more info about initial check in maybe in advance like parking, handing car keys in and room keys when doing outside excursions. I emailed three times before arriving over a period of weeks with no response. Nonetheless a great stay.

Absolutely breathtaking

Well, words really can not describe this hotel. Taormina is beautiful in general, but to top it off, this hotel is perched on a hill from which you can admire both the beautiful ionian sea as well as the snow-capped Etna. The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful garden and offers several terraces where you can enjoy breakfast or a drink. Honestly, the view takes your breath away!
In addition, this hotel is a family run business, and the friendliness of the staff is quite striking. You just feel at home. I can't wait to make it back!
