Pleasant Stay. Overall, a good value for the price. The staff are very helpful.

This is my second stay at SafeStay in Pisa, Italy. The last time I stayed for only a couple of days, for an EoSoMII Conference. The second time was to find an apartment in Pisa. No luck with that. There are way too many students at this time of year looking for a room or a flat.
Nevertheless, I had a pleasant stay and met a lot of fellow travellers. Not too many complaints. ´No guest kitchen. The coin change machine was broken at times, and they do not accept cash for payment. Otherwise find. The washer and dryer are 5 Euros, but they work well.

I had actually stayed at a different safety property in Naples and thought this was the same one and thus booked it but to my rather surprise this was nothing like that.
While the staff were really nice and quickly helped me with checking in and the rooms were not too small I felt like the bathroom was from a different dimension altogether as the shower cubicle was so small that while I was making my way out of it I hurt my back really badly And it was very painful to imagine the same happening to anyone else and that’s too on holiday also when I just opened the shower which was fixed overhead little bit of brown water seem to come out from it and I do not know what that was all about but it was rather disappointing however There was lockers in the room and quite a peaceful stay as well so I guess it’s fine for a night, but if only they had the day not so much behind the door that it is positioned in a very weird manner maybe it could have been better and also the flush was not working properly.

UNSAFESTAY PISA

As a THIRD order hostel in itself is not bad given the structure and location. I start from (the least negative aspect to the most negative) beds and elevator services (nn it works I was locked in)) completely bad seem prison cells poor Italian breakfasts, kitchen and non-existent bar all customers prefer to eat out rather, just for this reason they do not accept closed outdoor food even just x heat in the micro, given the prices and food and that menu that you do not even find in the Simpsons carton, they ONLY accept CARD payments for this thing (not understanding) that put many people in difficulty xke having foreign cards could have comm, at the currency exchange, or simply do not have it, given the Elite clientele. then their policies of stay try to charge everything from (parking x bike, scooter luggage storage, extra services etc.) following my complaints about everything qst I talk to Sir. Tommy and he invites me to kindly leave the hostel or rather throw myself out the young man ... I stress his inadequacy to the role of receptionist. ))
The absent management advice to change marketing and communication is not for you.

Per quanto riguarda i nostri letti e spazi comuni, sono pensati per offrire un soggiorno essenziale e accessibile, mentre la politica sul cibo esterno è adottata per motivi igienici e per garantire il comfort di tutti gli ospiti. Riguardo ai pagamenti, accettiamo solo carte per motivi di sicurezza e gestione. Ci dispiace, inoltre, se ha percepito un atteggiamento poco professionale da parte del nostro staff e ci scusiamo se non siamo stati all’altezza delle sue aspettative in questo caso.

Nice to stay one night or two max. Uncomfortable bed, mattress is too thin. The cafeteria is a plus when you arrived late at night. Luggage storage for a fee.
