Old monastery converted to hotel. Beautiful property. A bit dated inside. Walls are paper thin. Excellent staff and breakfast. Convient bus ride into town

Quiet location in easy reach of city centre.

Very helpful reception staff. Quiet location just outside Florence but in easy reach of city centre. Bus stop 100 metres from the property, buses run every 20 minutes & 15 mins journey to the old town. Rooms functional. Continental breakfast with fresh croissants. Good value. Just remember to take shower gel, as not supplied.

This is a great stay on the outside of Florence. Transportation into the city is convenient as there is a bus that takes you into the centre of Florence for €1.70/person. Food variety at breakfast was good and the hotel parking is convenient if you’re travelling by car. Overall had a very comfortable and welcoming stay, and would highly recommend to travellers who want to stay in a quiet area of Florence.

A trip back to the '90s

The entire villa feels like a trip back to the '90s. Amusing are the blood streaks from killed mosquitoes. The air conditioning operates in an all-or-nothing mode, with no in-between settings. A pleasant surprise is the now-rare wardrobe for storage, shelves in the shower and throughout the bathroom, and a phone at the reception. Both days, the reception staff were very kind and spoke English. Breakfast brings back memories of the cheapest salami and low cost cheese from school trips 30 years ago; don't expect any vegetables or fruit. Yogurt and muesli are available as a backup, along with sweet pastries. Good coffee is a delight, and there are even a few gluten-free cookies. By half-past eight, the chickens were off duty, as the boiled eggs had run out. The dining room staff were very friendly. There is a fantastic private parking lot with shady areas and a gate that closes at night (opening with a code available for authorized guests).

Celá vila je jako výlet do devadesátek. Pobaví krvavé čáry od zabitých komárů. Klimatizace jede naplno stylem on off, nic mezi. Potěší dnes už nevídaná skříň na uložení věcí, poličky ve sprše i v celé koupelně a telefon na recepci. V oba dny na recepci moc milí pánové vybavení angličtinou. Snídaně vás propojí se vzpomínkou na nejlevnější salám a eidam ze škol v přírodě před 30 lety, zeleninu ani ovoce nečekejte. Jogurt a müsli jako záloha včetně sladkého pečiva. Dobré kafe potěší, jedny sušenky pro bezlepkovou dietu též. V půl deváté už měly slepice po směně, protože vařená vajíčka došla. Moc milý personál v jídelně. Potěšilo dobré kafe. Parádní soukromé parkoviště se stinnými plochami a bránou, která se v noci zavírá (otevření na kód pro oprávněné hosty k dispozici).
