Lovely smart but homely little hotel.

Stayed on a work trip. So lovely. Lovely chatty lady on reception. Really comfortable room overlooking a beautiful stream. Really relaxing. Lovely friendly little village. I can't praise this hotel enough it has lovely old fashioned charm and lovely personable staff

Good value for price +++

The best hotel experience during my one week stay in Ireland. Big room plus a bathroom and parking available for free just behind the hotel. Very good value during the week. Clean, nice staff and good location to visit the region but you need your own car.

Excellent hotel,lovely location .

Spent a lovely night in The Parkview Hotel after hiking in Glendalough.Staff were excellent,very relaxed stay ,price very reasonable,food was lovely,room was very comfortable.Very close to loads of activities and a short trip to and from Dublin.Breakfast was really excellent with loads of choice ,truly great experience.We will be back again soon John and Marion.

Pathetic & amateurish

Strong impression that there was no chef in the kitchen. farcical attempts at chowder, seafood linguine etc. Honestly the whole thing was so pathetic we ended up having a good laugh over it. Still though, not funny to be expected to pay for such a pathetic attempt at food.

The wedding hotel

We had the pleasure of having our wedding reception in this truly beautiful hidden gem. From the day we booked our amazing wedding coordinator Helen could not do enough for us. All of our wacky ideas was no problem for her and her wonderful team that she has. Every single member of staff in this hotel is very polite and so helpful. We had a big wedding reception of 160+ and not one person had a bad thing to say about the hotel the staff or the food everything was amazing and Helen really did do a fantastic job not just on the night but for the year and a half that we have been dealing with her. Helen your truly special and amazing at your job, we where so lucky to have you as our weeding coordinator and the hotel is so lucky to have you work for them so from Alison and myself thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our special day even more special.
