Lovely hotel

The Exeter hotel is ideally situated near the harbour. Plenty of restaurants nearby.
The hotel staff are very helpful. Just be mindful when you sign the form when checking in you are saying you don’t want your room serviced. This was only pointed out to us when we asked why our room hadn’t been made up.
It was resolved with fresh towels being delivered straight away and room cleaned the next day.
The breakfast is very good with plenty of choice. If you do not have breakfast included the on site bakery is very good.
The only complaint is the lighting in the bedrooms is not very good . It is very difficult to do make up.
I would definitely stay again

Great location, great hotel

This hotel is the perfect location for visiting Downtown Reykjavik. Everything is within walking distance. The bus stop for tours & airport transportation is right across the street. The bathrooms have heated floors and towel racks and nice spacious walk in showers. The hotel restaurant Le Kock is fantastic for burgers, their deep fried potatoes and milkshakes. Also they have a fresh made donut & bagel shop that you just have to try. The hotel and restaurant staff were all very nice & helpful.

Great Hotel in Reykjavik

Recently stayed here for our trip in March. Like many, we arrived early in the morning and were easily able to store our luggage prior to check-in while we explored the city some. Staff was always super friendly and helpful, daily breakfast was wonderful, and the rooms were very modern and clean with super comfy beds! We were also able to get a parking spot at the hotel which was a huge bonus. Location was great with shops and restaurants easily walk-able, but also very easy to drive to/from for our day trips. Would 100% stay here again!

Ticks all the right boxes for a great stay

Excellent location in a lovely position by the habour and a short walk to all major attractions. We went for a superior urban deluxe room and requested a quiet room. The room was fantastic - lots of space, two big windows and a great walk in shower. We didn’t hear any noise. The sauna was an added bonus for the hotel. Breakfast was good. Overall, an excellent stay.

Great Hotel

Hotel perfect! Rooms very comfortable, great location for exploring and very near Bus stop 4 and 5 for trip pick ups. Bakery downstairs excellent would def stay here again
