A practical but rather poorly maintained hotel
The difficulties began when I received a bill for one room, even though I had reserved a second room. The two consecutive emails I sent to report this error went unanswered and without the acknowledgement of receipt I requested. I had to call to get the forgotten second bill fixed.
This hotel does not serve meals. The receptionist who asked me to recommend a restaurant in the area could not give me useful information. He told me that at the end of the street on the right (Zimmermannstraße, then Willemstraße, these street names I have added) I will find many restaurants. Apart from a decent restaurant on the corner of Willelmsplatz and Leonhardstraße, the rest of the hustle and bustle actually took place in Leonhardstraße, a trendy street for sex venues.
The rooms are clean, the linen is satisfactory but the hotel is poorly maintained. The lighting in the hallway leading to the rooms on the 1st floor. Stock leads, was out of order. The shower gel dispenser attached to the shower partition came loose and remained in my hand.
My room was poorly lit from the side of the long table that served as a desk. In rooms designed for two people, there was only one seat. There was a small magnifying mirror in the shower room, but it was placed in a place that made it difficult to use.
At breakfast there was no self-service buffet. The lady in charge of the service asked everyone what they wanted and brought it, keeping the quantities to the minimum.
The good thing about this hotel is that it is close to Stuttgart's old town and has a practical and affordable underground car park (€10 per night).

Terrible Experience - Stay Away!
I had the worst experience of my life at Hotel Abalon in Stuttgart some weeks ago. The hotel is far from the city center, which made everything inconvenient. But what made it truly unbearable was the staff's behavior. They were incredibly rude and made me wait for over an hour under 35-degree sun because they claimed no rooms were available at 4 p.m.
When I finally got my room, it was filthy. I found dirt and grime in the bathroom. But the worst part? The bedsheets had stains and small insects crawling on them. I went immediately to complain, but the arrogant reception staff did absolutely nothing to help.
Of course I couldn’t tolerate staying there any longer, so I left the hotel with my mother and needed to pay for a second hotel as the staff of course didn't do anything about my complaint. This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had in all of Europe. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs.

Uncomfortable and dirty hotel.
On the second day (Sunday, September 29 at 5 pm) we found room no. 101 yet to be tidied up from the way we left it this morning.
At the reception a annoyed boy tells us that on Sundays the rooms are not redone. Strange thing because this morning going out at 9.00 we saw the change cart and also a lady attendant.
The hotel manager is not present so we cannot present our complaints. Asked and received however by hand the change of towels and two clean glasses.
For us it is not up to a three-star hotel.
Obviously, we don't blame the kid, we blame who runs the facility.
P.S. unlike other hotels where I stayed in Germany, here they ask 20.00 euros per day for an inconvenient underground parking (metal platforms inclined upwards in each individual location to optimize the small space available...)

Average hotel. Be prepared to pay for parking. Shower style is a bit strange. Location is a plus.
