Lovely hotel
What I liked
+ Family owned and run hotel with personal touch
+ Large clean rooms, modern but with a traditional Bavarian touch
+ Modern bathroom
+ Breathtaking location settled between a river and a steep mountain
+ Nice restaurant with great food and a large beergarden
+ Very friendly staff
+ Free Wifi (acceptable speed) and free parking
+ Very relaxing night

Ein sehr persönlich geführtes Haus mit Charme
Wir wohnten in einem sehr sauberen, gemütlichen Zimmer im Landhaus, ein paar Gehminuten vom Haupthaus entfernt.
Im Rahmen unseres Arrangements durften wir an beiden Abenden ein Viergang-Menü genießen.
Die Tagessuppe wird serviert, dann kann man ans Salatbuffet gehen, den Hauptgang darf man sich aus der sehr umfangreichen Speisekarte aussuchen, das Dessert wird wieder serviert.
Sowohl die Tomatencrèmesuppe als auch die Brezenknödelsuppe waren sehr lecker. Die Salate sind knackig-frisch und schmecken klasse.
Als Hauptgang hatten wir uns am 1. Abend für den Bayrischen Teller (mit Schweinebraten und Entenbrust) und für „Ente einmal ganz anders“ (Entenbrust und Scampis, dazu zweierlei Soßen) entschieden. Beides eine sehr gute Wahl und außergewöhnliche Kreationen; das Fleisch super zart, die Haut der Ente knusprig, auch die Beilagen top.
Am 2. Abend wählten wir Ente à l'orange und Pfeffersteak – wieder beides auf den Punkt gegart und absolut zu empfehlen.
Der Service war sowohl beim Frühstück als auch beim Abendessen sehr herzlich und aufmerksam.
Wir sind häufig unterwegs und waren schon in vielen Hotels – aber ein Frühstücksbuffet dieses Ausmaßes haben wir noch nie erlebt. Riesige Auswahl, viele regionale Produkte und Köstlichkeiten wie kleine Lachsterrinen, gegrillte Champignons, Erdäpfelkas, eingelegte Kirschtomaten zum Mozzarella, pochierte Eier... es ist eher ein Brunch als ein Frühstück.
Wir freuen uns bereits jetzt schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch!
