Great hotel for our trip to Munich. Its a bit out of town but the staff were super helpful with showing us ways to use the local transport network which made getting into Munich really easy and cheap. We drove and there is a large, easy to park in underground garage

Zimmer top, Service naja

First the positive, the room is, as at Motel One, clean, functional and very good for a room of this hotel class! Beds very comfortable and the bathroom top (water pressure and temperature)
The location is, for a city break now not central but very convenient. With the tram (about 5 minutes walk, cozy) you are quickly connected to Munich Freedom and thus to the underground. The North Cemetery (U6) is then just 10 minutes away.
And now to the somewhat negative impression.
The breakfast is excessively overpriced and does not really offer what you would expect in a city hotel. No hot counter, the seating not nearly sufficient and the service staff overwhelmed with clearing and cleaning. I've had that much better at Motel One.

Disappointed with the service at check-in

Unreasonably long wait of over 1 hour at check-in, which involved an incredible long queue. The mood of the standing guests approached zero.
I do not want to experience this again. Wasn't reasonable for the price.
Room, bathroom, facilities, wifi, bar, was ok.

It was way too expensive for a bedroom this size. Anyway, the building has two parts. I suppose if you book via online travel agency, you’ll get a worse room in the smaller part like ours - with a view to the construction site. It would probably be better to book directly. The room and the bathroom were pretty clean overall, but there were some nasty spots with unclear origin on our furniture. The staff was friendly and the roof top bar is nice though. Still not worth the high price in my honest opinion.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The rooms were a little bit small but it was affordable and you’re pretty close to the city center.
