A typical German vacation hotel with clean and well equiped rooms. Parking is remote but convenient close to the hotel. Breakfast is worth the money, and personal is friendly. Restaurants are within walking distance and shops around the corner.

Nice hotel

Very nice hotel, with nice staff. Very good breakfast, very good breakfast, very good breakfast, very good breakfast. Little restaurants and shops nearby. Not far to drive from the city center.
We had dog with us and it was no problem.

Fines for late arrival!

The reception is only open until 19 (!) Interpreted it as key could be in an envelope etc. Got stuck in traffic south of Hamburg and we did not arrive until 8 pm. It carried a surcharge of €30!!! I've never experienced anything like this and the staff were completely unreasonable.
Do not book this hotel.

There is nobody at the recption after 7pm. If you arrive after 7pm you have to download an app, make a phone call to the hotel to get a code that activate an "e-key"...what's happen if your phone is out of power or if you don't have the connexion or the knowledge to go through this procedure? Then you can make a phone call and somebody comes to open the door but it is "very costly" according to the hotel manager!!! Unbelievable!!! The only purpose of the system is for the hotel to avoid the cost of a night employee AND charging additional fees to customers. It must be avoided and black listed
