Chilled, comfortably, perfect.

A chilled out and slightly wierd place. A short walk from the train station this hotel seems run by students and managed by hippies. It has links to a charity that works to provide drinking water in the 3rd world. It is also run superbly well - what a surprise. The roof bar has amazing views, rooms are small and quirky but comfortable, breakfast is perfect. Suits us perfectly.

Cool quirky hotel

This is a cool and quirky hotel. There is a bar at the bottom and a rooftop bar which were good.
The bottom bar hardly had anyone on it so was very hard to get a drink at times and rooftop bar has certain times when it’s open.
The rooms were lovely and clean. Kind of small but that’s okay.
I would recommend this. It’s not far from the train station so easy to walk.

I booked “the camp” and the space was private and convenient. They also have water bottle refill stations and ear plugs available.

Beautiful stay

Very nice place, very uncomplicated, breakfast was excellent, the place can only recommend. Too bad the restaurant was never open and we couldn't try it. We would love to come back again when we come to Hamburg next time.

Good, but room for improvement.

The room was great, we had plenty of space and everything was clean. Disappointing was that the restaurant only opens Wed-Fri, so there was no possibility in the hotel itself to eat or drink a coffee comfortably in the evening (that was only available in mediocre quality via self-service downstairs in the reception area). Many guests therefore sat in the breakfast area as if in a hostel with a pizza box. We also had to ask for toilet paper all the time because the room service didn't come regularly or forgot the paper. The service team was more concerned with being cool than taking care of the guests. Breakfast, however, was really great and varied! Overall, a good experience, but for the price a little bit.
