The place to stay in the Erzgebirge

Family owned and run very nice hotel and restaurant. Beutiful mountain views. Friendly and wonderful service. The food was authentic Erzgebirge cuisine. Hotel and restaurant rates were very resonable.

NOT RECOMMENDED

We found a fingernail in one of our meals.
The waiter quickly whisked it away and came back a couple of minutes later saying it was a piece of plastic (shaped like a finger nail). I was not charged for my meal nor drink but my fellow diners who were put off their meals were charged full price. Either way, finger nail or plastic in the meal, this place cannot be recommended.

Relaxing treat

A short drive our of Seiffen proved to be well worth the short drive. This Hotel had a great restaurant. It was very pretty even with a lovely porch to eat on. The waitress was so helpful and friendly. Our meal was great, and perfectly cooked. Would love to eat there agai

Great lunch

Lovely restaurant in Seiffen. Large dining room with excellent German fare. Service was quick and attention by staff was OK. Locatoin is near the center of town and near the Freilichtmuseum. Plenty of parking.

Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel

Wir verbrachten 2 Tage in Seiffen und haben es nicht bereut, im Landhotel zu Heidelberg
uebernachtet zu haben. Das Hotel selbst war wegen einer Hochzeit zwar ausgebucht, der ueberaus freundliche und zuvorkommende Eigentuemer stellte uns jedoch spontan ein Appartment im gegenuebeliegenden Gaestehaus zur Verfuegung. Sehr, moderne ZImmer
mit Balkon, Parkplatz vor dem Haus schoener Blick auf die Umgebung.
Im Restaurant wurde uns trotz Ueberfuelle noch ein Tisch freigemacht und das Essen wie auch das Fruehstueck am naechsten Morgen waren ausgezeichnet und in Anbetracht des Angebotes sehr preisguenstig.
Wir kommen sicherlich ewin naechstes Mal.
