Weekend break, with some dissappointments
The main room was nice, with good views. The balcony floor was not clean,

Nice hotel with a very service-minded staff - and a little too high prices!
The room was fine - but the price was in the high end and the cleaning could well be better. Nice beds, ok furniture and lovely views.
The restaurant Landgang served a standard-quality buffet breakfast. But there was too much crowd and chaos in the self-service as there was too little space for the guests - and there was not even fully covered in the hotel. It also meant that the buffet quickly looked exhausted and was empty - because the staff at times couldn't even follow up to filling up.
Landgang serves an excellent evening menu at fair prices.
Unfortunately, the comfort of the Landgang restaurant varies quite a lot, tables/chairs in the back rooms were with quite low comfort, while tables/chairs in the rooms with sea views were really nice.
Restaurant Schnüsch was a nice experience, with sweet and service-minded waitresses (for the one apparently new to start, and was not quite into things). The wine chart is very narrow, too limited in selection, which does not match the ambition level of the restaurant - far from. The food was excellent, but the price was slightly too high for comparable culinary quality.
Good parking conditions in the parking cellars.
Overall ok, but the price is not exactly the measure of the quality.
PS: 4 stars is too much, and 3 stars is too little - so 3.5 must be, but it cannot be given.

An unforgettable experience
From check in till check out everything went smoothly. The receptionists made sure all was in order with us all the time. The housekeeping team - very helpful and efficient.
The F&B team reacted very fast once they learned, we were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were very touched.
Thank you to you all for making our stay a memorable one.
Kudos to the management for putting together a team of empathetic professionals .

Caution, check your upgraded room!
Check the room before you upgrade! Unless you are willing to walk around bend over, this Suite is not for you. The in room sauna was useless.
Although the hotel was beautiful and very interesting, our suite had absolutely no space for our suitcases. We were on a three week Europe trip!
