Great solution to relax and rest during a demanding trip

Great solution, for those of us, who needed a hotel to rest and relax during a trip Spain / Italy. Clean hotel, friendly and nice staff, great breakfast, we did it early at 7.10 and it was already all available. the room was small, but functional for our needs of one night only. A funny thing was the bathroom divided into two distinct rooms, one with shower, washbasin, the other with toilet .. which looked like the punishment room, but still functional. We relaxed in the small swimming pool, where there are deck chairs and umbrellas, separate pool with whirlpool and pool bar service. Parking, we had the bike, but several free parking spaces were available. The distance to the village is about 10 minutes (or less) and 10 minutes from the highway entrance .I recommend it, I am happy with my choice

When I first entered this room - I wanted to leave!

I did not come with the highest expectations- but I was honestly not satisfied at all. First when I arrived I could not find a parking space - so I had to squeeze myself in behind the hotel - next to over piling garbages and gardening trash which seems to be just dumped behind the parking spot. The smells did hit different and I already started to notice like a lot of bugs.
Well not so bad - I thought let’s give it a shot! The outside of the hotel and the green areas looked also not promising at all. Everything look dated and in need of repair or maintenance. The pool is absolutely horrible - right besides an abandoned building and a busy road - squished in between parking and the restaurant … totally dreadful I bet your bath tub at home is nicer.
The room was small and smelled a bit humid - even a little moldy. But just unimaginable small - the plus side is that there was a safe and a fridge - the only positive things about this room.
Everything seemed beaten up - and once you moved in (3 people) the room was filled to the ceiling. The balcony seemed small with cheap ugly plastic furniture- the door has also seen better days.
The worst part were the mosquitoes- they were everywhere ! Dead mosquitoes in the elevator (that seemed to be out of 1920) and a ton of them in the room. The second day I had to clean everything myself because there were dead mosquitoes and blood stains everywhere from killing these little suckers.
Another comment to the elevator - if you are top floor - the noise it produces is ridiculous! Try getting your room as far away as possible.
The breakfast was ok- I just wondered about the staff (not sure if they actually worked there) - no name tag no uniform - sitting there drinking coffee reading the newspaper. The first day 4 different people asked me about my room number - from which I could not tell if they actually worked there.
You bet I won’t come again!

It had nothing, no amenities in the room, no cup, no glasses, no paper cup, no kettle..etc Tried to ask the receptionist for a cup, she said “you can go to the restaurant to take a glass to room if you want!!!!” - what a “amazing” service!

A SHAME!

Booking of two rooms made 15 days before the stay and despite everything we found ourselves next to the elevator..very noisy!unable to sleep for children and adults.
The next day we went downstairs to have breakfast at 9:15, went up at 9:30..and there more things!.. they had been removed and brought back to the reception for cleaning!
A shame!

A catastrophic stay to avoid absolutely

We stayed at this Ibis hotel, and it was a disastrous experience by any standards. The rooms are extremely small, poorly soundproofed, with very poor quality bedding. This is compounded by an unpleasant view of the road, far from the standards expected even for a hotel in this category.
But what really made this stay unbearable was the attitude of the manager, a certain Madame Claudie. Her behaviour towards her staff is simply unacceptable: she screams, insults, and creates a hateful atmosphere, including for clients. Its reception is icy and aggressive, to the point of making everyone uncomfortable. The fact that such a person is in direct contact with the customer is beyond comprehension.
This is undoubtedly one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. We do not recommend this property to anyone looking for a minimum of comfort and professionalism. Absolutely fleeing.
