Perfection! The best place to stay in Villavicencio!!!!

Hotel Campestre Brizantha was more than I expected. After reading all the reviews, I was more than enthusiastic in arriving and having a tranquil weekend. BUT, I am blown away by the beauty of this place. I had the room directly in front of the pool with 2 full size beds. The room had A/C, a fridge (mini bar) with snacks and drinks (including Rum, Aquardiente and juice), a large flat screen TV with Direct TV. The beds were so comfortable and the room was lovely. The bathroom was modern and stocked with the necessary amenities incase you ran out of shampoo or cream. It is so obvious the owners of this place love it as the grounds were well manicured, clean and just simply beautiful. The pool was split in 3. The main pool, a kiddie pool and the jacuzzi. IT IS FANTASTIC. But, the reality is that you can have a beautiful place but if the service is not good then why go, right? Well, the service here is amazing. From the moment the hotel van picked us up at the airport to the moment we left, we were treated like royalty. I could not thank them enough for the service they provided. There was no request too large or too small that went unanswered. Jimmy was front and center and ready to make our weekend the most memorable it could be. So, when searching for a place in Villavicencio that require beauty, tranquility, attention to detail, fantastic service then look no further. This is the place to be. WORTH EVERY PENNY and more!

My boyfriend and I went to the hotel early January (2017) to relax. My first impressions of the hotel were a. the place is nice and b. the rooms are clean. Check-in went smoothly and since it was late, we had something to eat at the restaurant and it was good. The next day we had a good and simple breakfast and then relaxed by the pool. For lunch we decided to go out and when we got back, we noticed that our valuable items (such as two laptops, a camera and much more) were stolen from our bedroom. It was dark when we arrived and it seemed who ever stole our valuable items knew what to steal and how due to the evidence that was left behind. The robber or robbers took advantage of the poor security: a. the door had a poor alarm system (it would only go off if the door was left open at a specific angle), b. there was only one security guard responsible for the complex, c. no cameras were set up, d. the hotel was surrounded by dark fields and e. there were only bushes surrounding the complex that went up to my belly-button. The receptionist helped us as much as he could when we reported the incident and the police were also involved but I didn´t feel safe after what had happened. Unfortunately, it was too late to stay somewhere else but we left the next day early once things were settled with the hotel. About 2.5 months later the hotel´s insurance finally paid us back but it definitely didn´t meet the value of what was stolen. Overall, it´s a nice place but I would never return because I didn´t feel safe there and it is important to go somewhere where you feel safe.

A great hotel at Llanos Orientales

I had a great time there! Pool and room service were great. As soon as I got to the humid area, someone handed me a towel. Pool was nice (specially in a hot day). I wouldn't advice to eat at the hotel because the chef loves salty and overspicy food.

As a traveller is a pleasure to talk about people that believe in what they do, at Brizantha they really like people, and they will go the extra mile to make your stay and unforgettable one, we were really sad the day we left, all the staff caome outside to see us off. Excellent

Beautiful hotel

Stayed at this lovely hotel from July 1 through the 4th. Great location close to Villavicencio, quiet and beautiful. Room was very comfortable, clean, with air conditioning, small refrigerator and private bath. Hotel grounds were very well kept, beautiful landscaping. Outdoor swimming pool looked wonderful but did not have the time to use it. Breakfast was included, plenty of choices, freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh fruit. Ate dinner twice, delicious! Breakfast was served starting at 7, but on our last day they served us at 5:30 am as we had an early flight to catch. Chef was outstanding. Outdoor dining area was very clean. All staff from reception to janitors were very friendly, professional and went out of their way to meet our needs. This hotel is great for couples, families and to have a beautiful wedding reception.
