Oasis in the city

The Royal Garden is a oasis in the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong. From the moment you step through the door the staff are there to make your stay memorable. You are greeted warmly by the doormen and the front desk staff always have smiles on their faces. The lobby is a beautifully decorated. As you go up in the glass lift to your guest room you have a lovely view of the lobby and then again of the restaurants on the third floor as you rise. The guest rooms are so nice, with comfy beds, nice linens and spacious bathrooms.

Stayed in late December for 5 Nights, booked 2 rooms for the family . I don’t recommend this hotel for tall people. The ceiling is not for International height haha. We thought all rooms have bath tubs but none and toilets are considered small, stained carpets and overall the rooms are badly in need of serious renovation. The persons who cleaned up our rooms are very good, we are grateful to come back to cleaned up room, fresh bed sheets. Their swimming pool remained open. I requested months prior for interconnecting but non available on the day so the front staff arranged adjacent rooms but it turns out it wasn’t adjacent but few rooms father from each other :). We stayed anyway because rooms already paid btw. Hotel has lovely Christmas decorations and you are surrounded with luxurious brands like Rolex, Patek etc but these shops btw have no stocks to offer even if you’ll pay cash so it’s useless. The location is not the best but acceptable. We saw drank men fighting nearby the hotel one night but we just walked straight and did not bother their business :).

Royal Garden Hotel in East Tsim Tsa Tsui is located in a quiet environment, not far from MTR station. Taxi ride from HK Airport takes almost a hour. Not many eateries immediately close to the hotel, but walkable distance to some nice restaurants with overpriced roast goose and dim sum places. The hotel has a dim sum restaurant which is quite good. Service is good at front desk reception. Room size is reasonable and well designed, although the hotel is fairly old. For some reason the carpeting in the room was very dusty and caused us some discomfort due to the dust particles. After day 2 we complained to Housekeeping and they did vacuum the carpeted flooring, which improved the air quality. For this reason, we decided to look for other hotel options in HK.

Great hotel.nice location, very close to subwaystation..great service at the lounge, especially Nora and Lane.they are very pleasant and polite.!!! Food has a good variety of choices for afternoon tea and evening snacks.Breakfast is a bit deficient.i suggest to have buffet breakfast at the restaurant instead.
Rooms are larger than most hotels.pillows and bed are comfortable .
