lovely B&B in Truro

We enjoyed our overnight stay at this B&B and would stay again if in the area.
Our rooms were very large and comfortable, notably with a terrific shower in the ensuite bathroom. They are decorated with antique furniture.
It is a little out of the way in a residential area of Truro and you have to park on the street. That was not a problem for us.
The breakfast was a great way to set us off on our long journey home.

Wonderful Stay

Jenny has a lovely home, and she welcomes you into it with caring and warmth. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Jenny recommended where to go for dinner for a vegan plus fish meal. In the morning she made a vegan plus fish breakfast, with a great fruit bowl and veggies on the plate. Her comment about the veggies was that she tried to think what someone who eats this way would want, then looked at what she had in and added some veggies to the plate. We really enjoyed talking with her (Justin was away), and if we hadn't had plans for the next day, we could have sat and talked all morning. Thanks, Jenny.

Incredible! Words would not do this home away from home justice!!!

Jenny & Justin were absolutely amazing! From the moment we entered their stunning Bed and Breakfast they were both welcoming as if their favourite relatives had just arrived for the holidays!
The bed was heavenly, antique furniture gorgeous and the bathroom was at par with the Fairmont Hotels.
Breakfasts were scrumptious!!!

Perhaps a better name is A Step Above

During this trip we have stayed in Hotels, B&Bs and AirBnB. Jenny and Justin’s place was by far the winner for us. Beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable with really high quality communal spaces. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming always ready to answer questions and help us find our way around even coming to the rescue when our booked dinner reservation was cancelled due to a power outage at the restaurant we had chosen. The only welcome better than Jenny & Justin’s was from Abigail (their gorgeous westie)
If you are in Nova Scotia this place is ideal, close to town and easy to access from the highway.

A lovely place to stay

My sisters and I recently stayed with Jenny at her lovely B&B in Truro and it was a delightful experience. Her house is bright and well located. The three bedrooms were all beutifully decorated with antique furniture, comfortable beds and lovely linens. The on-suite bathrooms were well equipped and everything was immaculately clean. We had access to a charming sitting room in the evening to chat and have a glass of wine, and a delicious breakfast was served the next morning in a cheerful dining room. Jenny was very friendly and fun to chat with. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this B&B to travellers in the area. If you are in Truro over the weekend, do stop by their wonderful market in the centre of town!
