Loved our stay here

Such a lovely hotel, beautiful attentive staff, very well appointed rooms for the room charge.
An excellent position to Pub street and with lots of restaurants and bar options close by.
I can’t recommend the staff enough, always willing to help and always will go out of their way for you.
Hotel shuttle to and fro from airport was seamless both ways.. but allow plenty of time for transfer as airport is approximately an hour from hotel.
We had a fantastic stay here.
But understand you get what you pay for.

A VERY GOOD HOTEL FOR SEVERAL NIGHTS, CLOSE TO EVERYTHING AND AT A GOOD PRICE

Since we were going to stay 4 nights we booked a double with king size bed and living room. The reception very nice and apparent. There are collector pieces everywhere (2 scooters, a gramophone, etc...) Although it is a 4-star, it has no elevator, so we were put on the ground floor, ours being the last room in the hallway (next to the SPA), so we did not directly overlook the pool (greater tranquility) although it was accessed through an adjoining door. The pool, small, but clean and with good towels, sun loungers and a small bar. The 56 m2 was divided into a large bedroom with 2 m bed (well of mattress, sheets and pillows), with air conditioning, and a living room with a sofa and 2 armchairs, satellite TV (but only local channels were seen), refrigerator (with the 2 free bottles of water each day) and a spacious bathroom, somewhat grounded but clean, with a stone sink, large mirror, toilet and a Roman shower not in the best condition and with an unpleasant curtain (well of towels). At the door there is room for 4 or 5 cars (we were lucky and could always leave it). Cleanliness, sleep and wifi well. Good breakfast without being brilliant (Eastern and European options and with cook for eggs at the moment, tortillas...). It is only 10' walk from the center (the famous 8th Street, the Old Market and the tourist area). Across the street is a new and well-stocked 7/11. A very good hotel by Cambodian parameters, to which we would return as we enjoy a good offer.

Filthy

Absolutely filthy, first room doors didn't even meet to lock, second room omg filthy....
I asked for replacement clean towels they were stained, as was bedding. Didn't even shower, so grateful I only booked 1 night...
The review's certainly don't match the property... See for yourself I've attached photos!!

Wonderful staff, beautiful smiles and gorgeous decor.

I had the loveliest stay at Sakaban. Beautiful, cosy hotel, beautiful plants everywhere. I really loved the decor in the hotel, especially in my room. A more authentic feel than the previous hotel I hsd stayed at which was very modern. The free breakfast every morning was
nice and the girls in the restaurant were delightful! Location was fantastic! Probably the main reason I picked it actually being on Sok San Road which had somenl of my favorite Khmer Restaurants. Little things that would have made my stay even better would have been nice chilled water in the fridge every day. I wasnt allowed to keep my water bottles in the fridge which I thought was strange. Otherwise nothing else really l. The beautiful ladies on reception we always so so sweet and always had a friendly face whenever I saw them. It's these wonderful staff at the hotel that I will remember. Thank you girls!!!

Perfect couples place to stay in Siem Reap

Very well located. Short walk to markets, restaurants and convenience stores. Lovely room, restaurant/bar was excellent if you wanted to stay in. Pool was delightful. All the staff were very kind and attentive. The whole hotel was exceptionally well maintained. Highly recommend.
