Again very pleasant – but sometimes unusual

This year we also stayed at the Marienhof during the festival (see last review “Very nice stay again” from July 2023). In itself everything was as before: again only one suite (huge and very well equipped) received, the food (always breakfast and twice evening) in the restaurant very good.
But in the bathroom was some striking, perhaps / presumably due to the recent renovation of the suite and therefore only “half-finished”?: there was no hairdryer, we missed an otherwise usual magnifying mirror, the socket for example the shaver was not quite in order, in the bathtub with shower in it was no soap and shampoo dispenser.
Apart from these “abnormalities” at the Marienhof it was again a very pleasant and nice stay at the festival in Reichenau with absolutely worth seeing performances and outstanding acting performances!

Historic flair!

Very nice hotel with historical flair. Unfortunately, the superior rooms are allocated "at the same price" in very different quality and size (without any mention of this fact on the website or in the reservation confirmation).
Food at the hotel (breakfast and dinner) is very good and of high quality. The hotel is generally recommended if you inquire about the quality, size and price of the rooms in advance.

Like a Wes Anderson movie

A hotel like something out of a Wes Anderson film. Simply gorgeous! Ideal for a couples getaway. The wellness area is really pleasant in winter. Definitely worth a trip if you want to unwind a bit.

Short break in February

We stayed in Hotel Marienhof for 2 nights for skiing at Stuhleck. In such close proximity of the slopes it may be difficult to find another 4 star hotel of such quality. This was a very quiet hotel, not packed with tourist and having a "grand hotel" / old school charm. We were very satisfied with the hotel, including the wellness area.

Great Service.

What makes this hotel great is the staff, they're super nice and professional. The facilities and the interior is also very nice. Food is really good, try their deer burger and chocolate mousse.
(If you arrive with an electric car, you should know, that the charging station doesn't work, even with their own card.)

We have two charging stations from VKW which are regularly used without any problems. One needs a charging card of one of the partner card companies.
