Everything was fine.
Very friendly staff, and a competent boss. The drinks and, the food especially the 4 course menu and the wine, were excellent. Also the room and explicitly the bathroom were very large. We will definitely come back.

The friendliness and quality we liked we were lunch there. We arrived without Reservation and were received and served courteously. Nice ambience and good food. We were 3people and all three satisfied. Very positive I would like to mention the very good coffee

Beautiful hotel and restaurant in great location
We stayed at the Schlossgasthof Rosenburg for 2 nights during May. The hotel is in a beautiful location opposite the Renaissance Castle Rosenburg, and next door to a national park. The hotel is very nice, with large, rustic rooms with comfortable beds and large en-suite bathrooms. Breakfast is included in the room price. The continental-type breakfast was excellent, with fresh breads, meat, honey and juice. We ate at the hotel both nights and found the meals to be both delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel, and it would make a good side trip if visiting Vienna. The only problem was that the hotel was quite a long walk from Rosenburg station.

Overnight stay at the medieval festival
The poppy room was very nice, quiet and beautifully decorated. The staff were very friendly and the food and breakfast were excellent. The bird of prey show was brilliant and the birds can also be viewed in the garden. There is a good selection of different specialties.

Unprofessional
We went to the Schlossgastof for lunch with a group of 20 people, with a reservation in advance!
Due to the lack of professionalism and non-compliance with agreements, I cannot recommend the Schlossgasthof Rosenburg for groups!
Apart from the fact that NONE of the main dishes suggested by the hosts in the group offer were implemented 1:1, the type and form of communication on site (no greeting, friendly tone, accusing, brash behavior,...) was completely inappropriate.
The accusation that I had neglected something despite personal agreement and compliance with the procedure described in the email was completely unfounded!
The situation / lunch seemed unprepared and improvised on the whole, the food on offer was very limited and the excuse of the goods still to be delivered almost ridiculous.
Since one can assume that catering for 20 people in normal day-to-day business should be quite feasible, and then with a two-hour preparation time and a group offer presented to the hosts by the hosts.
Specifically:
- Instead of 5 main courses, only 3 to choose from
- No dishes according to the group offer (except schnitzel, but only with mixed salad instead of potato salad)
- Food preparation not particularly tasty, e.g. the baked aubergine tasted bitter, "juicy" roast - very fatty
- Dark chocolate mousse OK, the white "chocolate mousse" was more like a curd cream
- Despite the cost of around €16.90 per person, without drinks, it was not possible to get a glass of tap water.
I would like to highlight the friendly, attentive service staff and the beautiful garden.
