Still a great hotel with a brilliant buffet breakfast. The dinner restaurant has a great location overlooking the pool area and has a very tasty menu.

I have been wanting to stay here since I was a in my twenties and I was not really impressed. For just over $500 for the night, it was disappointing. There was no soap in the shower container, no lift working so we had to use fire exits to get anywhere and a dodgy corridor to get to our car. If you have no lift working to gain access to the Northern side, then offer Valet. The property also needs maintenance and is stuck in the 80's. We loved the 80's ourselves, however someone needs to invest in this place if they want to charge what they are charging.
Also the water fountain in the corridor had faulty sparkling water and just air coming out.
This is a beautiful property, however it needs love and your service needs to meet the cost. No having a lift operational is not ideal and i do no know how long this has been for and it may be for a day or two. This is where breakfast comps come into play maybe....

Our room was quite dated, some cupboards were broken, the toilet seat was broken when we arrived (however it was fixed the following day) the room was quite dusty to the point where my daughter required her ventolin puffer about 4 times during the night. The bed was quite uncomfortable for me and the pillows were flat but I guess some people like them that way.
Breakfast was nice, not a lot of hot food variety. Fruit was beautiful and fresh.
The pool amenities were good. Very nice for couples , for us as a family, we didn’t find it very child friendly. We didn’t really interact with any staff, apart from Danny from room service on 2.2.24, he was very friendly and nice. Also the lady at check out on 3.2.24 was great, didn’t catch her name though.
The surrounding gardens and outdoor spaces were beautiful and well kept.
Overall, we probably wouldn’t chose to stay here again only due to the dusty rooms and my child’s asthma condition.

Charged parking for full week stay - had to use a seperate scan app instead of just registering your vehicle. No hot water on last morning in multiple rooms, rooms not vacuumed, ground floor hallway smelled of mold

The worst stay I have ever had at a Marriott or Sheraton property. Not what I expected as I have always had a wonderful experience with these brands. Issue after issue getting our room serviced properly. Resort overcrowded and service was terrible.
