Posada del Blanco a place to escape to the mountains, enjoying the best accommodation
The spa has a beautiful view and its massage therapist manages to disconnect you and relax to the maximum.
It has a common space with solarium, swimming pool and a sector on the side of the white river, with armchairs and Paraguayan hammocks, which allow you to rest with the murmur of running water.
The staff is very warm and friendly, and always ready for you to enjoy the full experience.
The Arbequina Restaurant prepares a super complete and delicious breakfast with breads that you can not fail to taste, its meals are absolutely enjoyable, worthy of the tasting of the different labels of its cava.

No wii fi in bedroom!
There was no wi fi in the bedroom.
The refrigerator in the bedroom made a lot of noise , so we had to unplug it.
The were no chairs in the balcony (although they advertised pictures with them ).
Most important of all, made a complain to the manager and did not seemed to care at all.
WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL, not worthwhile the value.

an oasis in the desert!
My wife and I, Amy WW found out about the posada through a colleague. We stayed there for 4 days from Christmas to the 29th. Our trip was spread over Buenos Aires, Mendoza, (typical Hiltons etc) the posada and then Uruguay. By far, the Posada was our favorite.
It was a break from all the other places. After being greeted by the owner, we had a glass of wine and went to our room. The room, the décor, the views were exactly what you would expect from a posada on a river. We felt like we were in a Bed and Breakfast in Vermont, except this was modern and well designed. A lot of effort went into all the materials. The rooms are made from wood that came from a train station in Mendoza that was slated for demolition.
When you drive there, you wonder where am I going, you are driving through wine country, then through desert, then mountains. You arrive at the posada and you realize you are at a special place.
This is not the grand Hyatt or four seasons. You will know the owner and the staff like they are you new neighbors or friends. The food, all made from scratch is exceptional. Not Paris or French chic, but authentic Argentine!!
You are going there to relax, unwind and take in what the region has to offer. You are near a major, lake reservoir that you can do all the sports associates with water. From fishing to white water rafting. You are 10 minutes from the road that takes you from Argentina, up the Andes to Chile. Gorgeous ride. 30 minutes from wineries in the Mendoza region and 45 minutes to uca valley, both with fabulous wineries.
The grounds of the posada are exceptional. You can go up many trails and walk for hours, every 10 steps is another view of the landscape and more wild horses and cattle. There are little enclaves along the river where you can sit back, read, listen to the roaring water and let your blood pressure go down even further.
The owner booked us a fly fishing trip, in which the ride was as fun as the fishing. It was my first time fly fishing. It wasn’t about the fly fishing, it was, with the drive, 5 hours of seeing another world. I did catch some trout, a lot of fun.
Manuel, the owner had great wines to enjoy, all at incredible reasonable prices. He spoke to us about wine and I also learned a lot about Olive Oil. If you go, ask him about the olive oil!!
