Situated just outside the city at a distance of 13km, this is a convenient airport to fly into if you plan to stay in Glasgow. Best time to visit Glasgow
· Scotland has fairly mild weather in general when it comes to temperature, but it can be pretty unreliable in terms of sunshine. Your best bet is to visit from April to September, when you’re most likely to catch some good weather. Expect highs of about 19°C and lows of 5°C.
· Winters are cold, but the advantages are that the Christmas lights and markets are in full swing. Layer up, this season can be wet, snowy, windy, or subject to hail!
