Beautiful hotel in a safe and quiet location
My family really loved this place. We stayed for two nights in Teotihuacán and we felt very welcome and safe at our hotel. The hotel is in a residential neighborhood and there is a small market across the street. We took a taxi that took 8 minutes. They know a trusted taxi driver who seems to know everyone in town. It only cost 50 pesos (US$2.65) for the ride to downtown. Our kids loved playing in the grassy courtyard and they loved the free breakfast and Hot Chocolate. They also make omelettes or scrambled eggs if you ask.
I would recommend it to couples or families wanting to visit the pyramids which are only a 15 minute walk.

Well situated
There is very little and a poor choice of hotels and restaurants in this town. At night we had to resort to eating a take away pizza, as failed to find an open restaurant. The hotel is around a grass courtyard and the rooms are clean but very basic. Two problems we experienced were a very unpleasant all pervasive smell from the bathroom drains and the outside corridor light shining through our red curtains all night.

Nice place, almost like home !
The place respect the style of the architecture and is small but lovely. Beautiful decor. The kindest personnel staff, impeccable service, they were all the time ready for us, answering questions and giving advice. Good breakfast. 10 minutes from piramides (by foot). A little store with basics items close but for largest choice need a car or taxi to go downtown.

Above and beyond hospitality
Stayed in La Finca del Abuelo for two nights and was charmed by the kindness of Doris and her husband. They went above and beyond to accomodate the needs of the big group we were. The rooms are nice and cleam. Nice free breakfast. Beautiful land really close from the pyramids.

El lugar, Finca del Abuelo, está muy bueno
Very hospitable family-owned business. Free breakfast. Onsite gated parking. Safe area surrounded by properties owned by the hotel owner’s relatives. They aim to please. About two miles from the sun pyramid. The billiard table was a little quirky but in a way entertaining to see which way the ball would roll. It’s a nice place to stay and feel at home at. They even did our laundry upon request even though it is not part of the service and so I tipped appropriately for the courtesy.
