Mid Century Masterpiece

We had a great time here. If you're in to Mid Century Modern everything this is a must visit. The food and service were great and the grounds are beautiful. We took provided bikes and rode around the town for an excursion. Would definitely stay again.

Bruce is the best sommelier

This hotel was outstanding from the decor, to service and amenities. The staff at the front desk and pool were extremely accommodating. I highly reccomend securing a reservation at Mr. Parker’s for dinner. The food was phenomenal but more so, the sommelier Bruce was outstanding. Bruce was one of the best sommeliers I have met throughout my travels and his kindness, professionalism, and knowledge made my experience that much better.
The hotel is very dog friendly and gave us homemade dog treats and water bowls throughout our stay. Honestly, there may be mixed reviews about overall service at the Parker hotel but I personally did not experience any issues. The staff was wonderful (other than the female bartender working at the hidden speakeasy that closes at 10 on Saturday – she was incredibly rude). Other than that, 10/10 and staff like Bruce, and the pool team made it very special. I will be back.

Parker Palm Springs is Exceptional

My wife and I spent 2 nights in Villa Zoe at the Parker celebrating our wedding anniversary
Let’s start with the front desk where Omar, Alexis, Camille and Hazel were engaged, entertaining and efficient from the moment that we arrived. The concierge set up our itinerary and we were to be recognized at every stop, Mr Parker’s and Norma’s by name and it being an anniversary.
The villa included a wall garden, an ample mini bar and a comfortable stay. The grounds are spectacular with numerous nooks and crannies to be explored and able to accommodate a wedding without any disruption to other guests.
Let’s be clear this is not a discounted stay, but the experience is extraordinary and we met numerous team members who made the stay fantastic
Hey Omar and Alexis you really are the best

Disappointing stay at The Parker - tired interior and inconsistent service

I stayed at The Parker with my friend for 3 nights in the beginning of March. Although we enjoyed many parts of our vacation, we felt that for the price of a 5-star hotel, The Parker simply did not deliver. A few examples:
"Daily complimentary coffee bar" consisted of us waiting in line each morning at a counter located inside the hotel restaurant. We had to stand right next to diners in the busy restaurant while we waited anywhere between 10 and 15 minutes for a waiter (who was waiting on tables during the breakfast rush) to return and pour us a cup of coffee. We couldn't understand why there wasn't coffee set up somewhere in the lobby for customers to just grab a coffee on their own.
Room cleaning was NOT terrific. They left used towels in the bathroom after cleaning and didn't replenish towels as they should have, nor did they replenish shower products. We also had an unopened bottle of wine in an ice bucket, and they did not replace the ice, which was disappointing. With that said, anytime we called and asked for something, someone was quick to respond.
No wipes in the wipes container for 2 days straight in the hotel gym. No towels, either. We never saw an attendant in the gym replenishing things or attending to anything, which seemed strange for a hotel of this caliber.
The style of the hotel was quirky and hip, with a very youthful vibe. The public spaces of the hotel were comfortable and great places to hang out. Great people watching and good energy! However, although stylish, the hotel interior did feel pretty tired to us. Lots of scuffed walls and furniture, and we noticed that there were stains on a few things, as well as mold in an interior lining of one of the laundry baskets in the spa locker room. Just an inattention to detail that we did not expect...
Our room, itself, was only fine. For $1500/night, we felt it was not necessarily up to par. Exposed cords/power strip, rug was dingy looking, the closet had just a drape (instead of a door, reminiscent of a college dorm room), and the safe was just sitting on the floor in the corner of the room. Also, our room had paper thin walls - we could hear every single word from the room next door, not to mention anyone passing through our hallway. The toilet had an issue so would run incessantly. We had to have someone come address it twice during the time we were there. We also had a room overlooking the parking lot, which wasn't super scenic, obviously.
The best thing about the property, in my mind, was the food and drinks. We had an AMAZING dinner at Mr. Parker's, and our breakfasts at Norma's each morning were really delicious. We even had dinner one night at Norma's and had the BEST fries and doughnuts! The butter candle and sourdough bread at Mr. Parker's, we both decided, might be the best thing we've ever eaten!
Chris, the concierge, was one of the highlights of our stay. He was very friendly and so eager to help - we really enjoyed him!

The Parker Palm Springs Rules!

Amazing experience! I travel often mostly solo and the Parker Palm Springs is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed up. The decor, the grounds, the staff, the restaurants the vibe are awesome. I always know I’ve stayed at a wonderful hotel when I am sad to leave. Oh and also the spa is wonderful.
