So much nicer than expected! Grounds are gorgeous and lots of very thoughtful details through the walkways to the “rooms” we really enjoyed and would come back for sure.

Worst place in Tulum

The photos were decieving. It shows that its nice and clean, but once you get there it’s the opposite. The whole place is dirty as if living in a garbage dump. The walls that seperate the rooms to the outside is made of tinfoil and plastic. The photos make it seem like you have beach side view but thats wrong. You still have to walk about half a mile to get there. And when you do, it is very filthy and packed, it is not a private beach, anyone can come in and use the same beach. There is no private parking, and the parking lot is just a terrain with holes everywhere. We could not stay there, it did not feel safe for me and my family. We tried getting our money back but they refused. Do NOT stay here.

My advice to potential customers - DO NOT STAY HERE.
This is by far the worst place we stayed during our time in Mexico. The staff, with exception of the individual serving breakfast, are incompetent fools. The ambience, well if you enjoy the constant sound of high speed lorries hurtling down the dual carriageway 24 hours a day, you may enjoy. We did not. It should also be noted that from 6pm you have no access to food, restaurants, drinks, bars, nothing. You may as well be stranded at sea.
For our stay, we were treated to noisy neighbours in adjacent tents. Then, for over 24 hours there was zero electricity or running water. We couldn’t shower. We couldn’t brush our teeth. We couldn’t even see 10cm in front of us after sunset. They did nothing to mitigate this for the guests. Their incompetence shining through yet again.
Our stay became untenable, who can put up with this for the amount they charge per night, we decided to leave a day early and it was agreed that if we contacted hotels.com we would be able to receive a refund for the final night of our stay. Hotels.com then tried to contact Serenity to confirm but Serenity refused to respond. We’ve messaged Serenity, they’ve refused to respond to us also. These people are untrustworthy, dishonest, and dishonourable. They displayed a complete lack of customer service when it most needed.
The meaning of ‘Serenity’ is the state of being calm, peaceful, and untroubled. They should probably change their name.

Excellent and exotic

Far from the large hotel structures in the region,
Tranquility, relaxation and well-being.
Not noisy on road level contrary to reviews.
A little music in the evening on the beach until 11 p.m. but above all lulled by the sound of the evening breeze and the sea.
Absolutely not disappointed despite negative reviews.

Greatest Relaxation

It's always so nice to return here and see old friends. We love the ambiance, the food, the peacefulness & of course the serenity. Always have a relaxing time. The beach and club are close enough, and the short walk down the road isn't bad at all. The reviews that are negative in concern with children and noise of neighbors, etc., are a matter of getting what you get any given time. We've been fortunate enough to always be there in optimum circumstances...weather, insects, people...whatever.
It also has to do with bringing your own positivity. We always enjoy ourselves, the wonderful staff and the beautiful property. Looking forward to our yearly visit.
Hasta luego amigos !
