About Pacific Airlines
Jetstar Pacific Airlines was the first low-cost airline in Vietnam, and was launched in May 2008. The airline flies to 16 domestic and international destinations and has a fleet of 10 Airbus A320 aircraft. Jetstar Pacific is owned by Vietnam Airlines and Qantas Group.
Destinations it flies to include various airports in Thailand, China, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau. The airline does not operate any flights to or from Australia.
Jetstar Pacific prides itself on being the first low-cost carrier to begin operating in Vietnam, and for affordable flights to various destinations throughout Asia.
• Jetstar Pacific currently does not allow online or kiosk check-in for flights, so check-in must be completed at the airport.
• Check in counters open 2hrs before departure, and close 30mins before departure.
• Passengers should be at their boarding gate no later than 25 minutes before departure.
• Passengers with Economy Starter fares cannot choose their seating.
• If you have purchased a Plus Bundle, then you may choose your seat (excluding seats in the priority seating section.
• Those who have purchased a Max Bundle can choose from any seat on the plane, including the priority seating section (which has extra legroom).
• Jetstar Pacific does not offer in-flight catering in its fares.
• Since the airline only offers short-haul flights, it also does not offer any in-flight entertainment apart from an inflight magazine.
• On a basic Economy Starter fares, passengers do not have any baggage included.
• Passengers can purchase a 15kg, 20kg, 25kg, 30kg, 35kg or 40kg check-in baggage allowance.
• Those with Starter fares who have purchased a Plus Bundle have 20kg of checked luggage included in their fare. Starter fares who have purchased a Max Bundle have 30kg of checked luggage included in their fare, and can purchase an additional 10kg if needed.
• All Economy passengers can take 7kg of carry-on luggage. Passengers with more than this will have to pay an extra fee at the airport.
